Quote:
Our diversity is our greatest strength.

Certainly a progressive motto. Try reading this and your bubble could burst. Of course someone could dispute what he says, but if you cant you should accept it for the rational argument it is.

Quote:
After playing clips of Democratic politicians reciting that truth of modern liberalism, Tucker Carlson asked, “How, precisely, is diversity our strength? Since you’ve made this our new national motto, please be specific.”

Reaction to Carlson’s question, with some declaring him a racist for having raised it, suggests that what we are dealing with here is not a demonstrable truth but a creed not subject to debate.

Yet the question remains valid: Where is the scientific, historic or empirical evidence that the greater the racial, ethnic, cultural and religious diversity of a nation, the stronger it becomes?

This puts progressives at a loss and so disingenuous is their claim this is better for our country. Don't you think the example of our freedom inspires the world. You destroy this country you destroy that example. I want no part of it. Just an opinion.

@Lash,
Yes, I saw something like that also. The charge should be upgraded to first degree murder, based on what I have read about it.

edit -
Wouldn't surprise me if the pot was planted by the officers.

I agree Tucker. Let's not have diversity.

Let's have a system based on what Blacks want for the USA and all have to follow this plan.

Or let's have a system based on what Asians want for the USA and all have to follow this plan.

@maporsche,
I hope so but the odds don't run that way in the US.

When this continues to happen in the 2020 elections, there will be those who ask me, mind as blank as the driven snow, when I mention it, "I never heard of it. Do you have any links to show this sort of thing?" And once again, I will answer, "I have been posting about it since the 2016 election."

Such is the brain of most USians, Edgar. And a whole lot of other westerners, caught up by the bright lights of the vacuous, shoddy shining city on a hill.

Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn and many others have been pointing out these evils since forever.

A great deal of intelligence is invested in ignorance, studied ignorance, willful ignorance.

Chomsky and particularly Zinn, are ranting ideologues who don't enough history between them to fill a very small thimble.

Whoa, another of Setanta's famous uninformed opinions that he screams out from his porch each night until someone pulls him back in the house, fearful the police will be called.

Are you a published "historian", Set my man!?

You still haven't addressed that post where I pointed out, at least twice, some of your other myriad uninformed opinions that, for you, seem to count as evidence, science, facts.

Now like glitterbag, Set will plunk his substantial butt back down in his front row seat of the peanut gallery to try to think up some more uninformed opinions.

@edgarblythe,
He is a wee bit too cerebral for you and Set, Edgar.

Or, maybe, just maybe, you and Set just don't like him pointing out that Vietnam was the ultimate war crime.

@edgarblythe,
You ought to broaden your horizons. Zinn has done his epic book also for young people.

A Young People's History of the United States: Columbus to the War on Terror (For Young People Series) Paperback – June 2, 2009
by Howard Zinn (Author), Rebecca Stefoff (Contributor)

Zinn is a crypto-Marxist who fully subscribes to the notion that history should be made to serve ideology. He therefore willingly distorts his "historical" narratives to serve his ideological agenda. It is thanks to Zinn that the hysterics among us brand all wars as genocide and scream and rant against all nations to don't bend down to kiss their collective ideological asses--which is to say, all nations.

@Setanta,
Set's always uninformed opinions, never anything remotely resembling evidence.

Howard Zinn was an American historian, playwright, and social activist. He was chair of the history and social sciences department at Spelman College, and a political science professor at Boston University.

Just this short blurb puts Prof Zinn miles ahead of the guy who never has any evidence.

Which brings me to this, again, for the ... time.

Beto may have lost more votes than he gained. Maybe not. He spoke out for justice in police officer's shooting of an unarmed black man in his own apartment. He decried smearing the man's character over items found in his apartment ( some of which I personally think likely planted).
Racism runs deep.
