Quote:President Donald Trump commented on the debate surrounding the comments of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) Friday, labeling Democrats as the “anti-Jewish party.”
“I thought yesterday’s vote by the House was disgraceful because it has become, the Democrats have become an anti-Israel party, the anti-Jewish party,” Trump said of the resolution against hate passed Thursday. “I thought that vote was a disgrace and so does everybody else if you get an honest answer. If you get an honest answer from politicians, they thought it was a disgrace. The Democrats have become an anti-Israel party and anti-Jewish party and that’s too bad.”

Of course Trump would push this one. But what I find really interesting here is his speech patterns. This is a great example of what he does all the time. Note there are only four sentences and...
"Democrats have become an anti-Israel party, the anti-Jewish party,” is repeated twice.
"I/everybody thought the vote was a disgrace if you get an honest answer" is repeated three times.
Easy enough to recognize such repetition as a propaganda/marketing device. But Trump wields this device in knuckle dragger fashion. And I think there are two reasons for this.
First, it is mentally easier for him to speak this way because he's just dumb and uses repetition not just for the normal propaganda or bullying reasons but also as filler. He doesn't have to do much thinking. And if he can continue to say something, anything, then he's the one doing the talking, not others.
Second, he obviously believes that his audience (his base) will not be able to process sentences requiring more intelligence/sophistication of thought than a grade two reader.
