One reason House Republicans are citing to oppose the resolution to overturn President Trump's national emergency declaration is they haven't had time to review the bill. It is one page and about 70-80 words: https://rules.house.gov/sites/democrats.rules.house.gov/files/BILLS-116HJRES46ih.pdf
2:33 PM - Feb 25, 2019

They figure they can have it read sometime in March.

Lee J. Miller and Wei Lu report that according to a recent assessment the U.S. ranks as the 35th healthiest country in the world, behind almost every country in Europe. And also some countries in Asia. And also Cuba. And also Costa Rica. But we beat Lebanon! (h/t Paul Waldman)

@edgarblythe,
That is great Edgar.

He won’t earn my vote in the primaries but it’s exciting that people are excited. If he loses, I hope he does so without saying the eventual canididate is unqualified to be president again.

If he wins, he’ll get my vote and my donation dollars for the November election.

Hoping Trump and Kim Jong Un continue bullshitting one another for another two years. It's better than when they had a pissing contest.

Let's not get over confidence.

We democrats and/or liberals have to show up at the polls to vote.
Let's not take anything for granted.
If the democrats and/or liberals don't show up at the polls to vote for the democrat,
Trump could end up getting re-elected.
Yes that is a scary scenario if Trump were to be re-elected.
That is why we democrats and/or liberals can't take anything for granted.
My message to all democrats and/or liberals is to get out and vote democrat,
unless you wish to see Trump re-elected.

Why is the economy going to get better or unemployment get lower? Is that scary to you? Democrats want the same stagnant economy we had under Obama. How stupid are you people?

That money was from over 300,000 people—38% of them were new donors!!

That's not a matter of character denigration (I'm an old white guy). It is a potentially damaging aspect electorally, as is being "too young", female or Muslim or atheist, etc.

Yes. It's impressive. And Warren is declining to hold big money fundraisers with the rich folks. I think it is probably the correct direction to move.

Normally Republicans/conservatives are more circumspect in quoting the words of the political theorists who they respect

In case you missed it, while the GOP is calling paying a living wage “socialism,” a Republican Senator full-on quoted National Fascist Party leader and Hitler ally Benito Mussolini like it’s a Hallmark card.

You can see Trump winning again if Bern is the one. He's going to be the poster child for 'socialism' which will be all we're going to hear.

The potential winner will be someone normal, more on the bland side like Klobitcher.
