@blatham,
A review of your claim.

All of those issues are of interest to voters of color, but Sanders struggled to convince the majority of them in 2016 that he had better policy solutions to these concerns than did Democratic rival Hillary Clinton. In the South Carolina primary, Sanders won 14 percent of the African American vote, according to exit polls. Clinton, the eventual Democratic nominee, took 86 percent of the vote.

Winning the majority vote of African Americans — and Latinos, Asian Americans and other voters of color — could be even more challenging as more voters seem excited to get behind candidates they feel better represent them in terms of race, gender and sexual orientation. Sanders appears to be calling on Americans to look beyond identity in determining their choice for the next president.

@blatham,
Here's another of the sort
Quote:
Former White House adviser Sebastian Gorka fantasizes about aftermath of a civil war: “I am not worried which side would win”

...The left is organized in terms of being a mob, in terms of throwing things at people, or hitting them when they're not ready, but in terms of real organized violence on the scale of a civil war, I am not worried which side would win.

@Lash,
Why thank you so much. And just so you know, if you'd like to post it in flashing neon pink that would be just fine with me.

@blatham,
It’s no crime to forget what you just posted. A prolific commentarian such as yourself can easily lose his place from time to time, and then criticize someone who dared to respond.

I’m just trying to help.

This is going to hurt Trump.
Quote:
South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem said Friday that President Donald Trump’s trade wars have “devastated” her state, and though she agreed that countries like China were not following fair trade practices, she urged the Trump administration to quickly wrap up its trade talks there.

“South Dakota has been devastated by the trade wars that are going on,” Noem said at POLITICO’s State Solutions Conference, noting that agriculture is “by far” the largest industry in the state. The Republican governor warned that the trade woes of farmers can trickle down to the rest of the state, impacting “every main street business, everybody that has another entity out there that relies on a successful ag industry.”

Feigning ignorance has saved you from confronting reality about several issues. Not surprised to see you trying it here, too.

Obviously your re-posting what I wrote (with your remark) is a duplication of my re-posting something you wrote. Thus my "flashing pink neon" response. But nothing you've just written after that makes any sort of sense to me. Want to clarify?

Zucker banned me from CNN after 180 appearances and many years. He did it because it's what Trump wanted. Trump pretend bashes CNN to help them compete against MSNBC. It's why Trump never mentions MSNBC. It's WWE fake pro-wrestling -- it's to help re-elect Trump bcs "ratings"

The point made regarding Trump's seemingly weird treatment of MSNBC is damned smart. And there's no getting away from the truth of those last two words - "because ratings". That's a very real problem with modern news media. It is their structures, processes and habits which put Trump in the WH and which might do it again.

Democratic socialism is nothing more than a palatable, but shrewd term for the eventuality of Communism

We are close to that math today. About 25 - 30% of Americans are hard-core leftists. They merchandise our country as unrepentantly racist, immoral, misogynist, homophobic, an imperialistic nation with nothing but greed on their collective minds…immoral because we will not approve of their immorality.

Another third of the country is fighting for the restoration of our great nation. It will be a long haul. We do not pretend that it will be easy.

The fight we face is for the last third, the fence sitters. We must convince them that it is not too late…we still have one last chance in 2020. To preserve this nation is to preserve the free world. We must convince them that freedom has a cost but slavery is free. We can and must turn our country around.

We know what history and experience says. We are older, better educated, recognize deceit and under no delusions. Unlike the younger of our nation, we have done our homework. Dress it up anyway you see fit, but democratic socialism is nothing more than a palatable, but shrewd term for the eventuality of Communism. Your move.

This video of The Bern in 1987 proves three things.
1. He has absolutely no sense of rhythm.
2. He is an authentic social activist for climate, women, and blacks in this country.
3. He is just talking what he has been walking for decades.

Most embarrassing and most soul-stirring Bernie video I’ve seen yet.

Get a little laugh in the first five minutes or fast forward to how HE talks to middle schoolers about America.

Health Care and Insurance Industries Mobilize to Kill ‘Medicare for All’

Quote:
Even before Democrats finish drafting bills to create a single-payer health care system, the health care and insurance industries have assembled a small army of lobbyists to kill “Medicare for all,” an idea that is mocked publicly but is being greeted privately with increasing seriousness.

Doctors, hospitals, drug companies and insurers are intent on strangling Medicare for all before it advances from an aspirational slogan to a legislative agenda item. They have hired a top lieutenant in Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign to spearhead the effort. And their tactics will show Democrats what they are up against as the party drifts to the left on health care.

They also demonstrate how entrenched the Democrats’ last big health care victory, the Affordable Care Act, has become in the nation’s health care system.

The lobbyists’ message is simple: The Affordable Care Act is working reasonably well and should be improved, not repealed by Republicans or replaced by Democrats with a big new public program. More than 155 million Americans have employer-sponsored health coverage. They like it, by and large, and should be allowed to keep it.

@hightor,
It’s definitely a showdown for America. Who’s going to own it—corporations or the people.

If the people win, the multi-billion dollar corps will be broken down to be more local, more responsive, and more susceptible to the needs/demands of the people.

If the corps win, yellow vests are next. Our ‘elected representatives’ will then authorize tanks in the streets against us.

Bet me a $20.

I've never noticed that in the USA so many are on the hard-core left side.
Do they work and act secretly?

But generally, the USA is more to the left than most other countries?
