Wow, after Mexico taking a 0-1 lead in the first half, Germany has been absolutely controlling the second. Mexico has had some close, breakaway chances to augment their lead. What a game.

Two yellow cards for the alemanes within a few minutes. They're getting desperate.

@Walter Hinteler,
I know how you feel, but losing to Mexico isn't as bad as losing to Tunisia.

I do not know what to make of the Brazil-Switzerland match. Of course.
that's been true of a lot of matches so far. If nothing else, it's been
interesting!

@George,
It's still nothing like the meltdown Brazil had last World Cup, they're not what they were.

People in Mexico are expecting to face Brazil for the round of 16, I am not so sure. Mexico should be able to win Group F. Who knows what Brazil will do. Maybe Mexico - Serbia Smile ?

Well deserved win despite poor refereeing and a lot of dirty play from Tunisia.

Argentinian insults to their players on twitter have now become a new form of literature.

@Walter Hinteler,
No. I'm nervous. We play today.

You are nervous too, I guess.

(Our bed WAS nicknamed "Germany", since it always defeats us. Until last Sunday. Now we have to change the nickname 😄).

Some Argentinian insults on Twitter:

"Messi, you ice age cold chest, play as if you had a heart, you ******* dwarf"

"Sons of a hundred biblical whores, you have D10s (God, Messi) on your side, and leave the kid alone against the world"

"Sanpaoli, birdbrain, why do you send that obese Higuaín to the ptich, that whale' s ass?"

"Caballero, you armless knee-head, you have polips instead of feet,"

"By God, you cunts are playing against a country invented by Netflix and you can't even defeat them!"

@fbaezer,
Germany's Kroos saves the day. Am I right in thinking that even S Korea can still qualify (if they beat the Germans by two goals and Mexico beat Sweden)?
