Oh my gosh, shewolf. Those pillows remind me of my total Peter Max style bedroom I had when I was a kid!

And going around making the words into a boarder -- that is a cool idea.

Those are both cool ideas.......

I'm going camping for a few days. When I get back I might work up several options and put them up for consideration!

So it ends with credit to.... Drewdad (?) as the last line goes up the left hand side.

Hehe. Someone will get curious and google "drewdad" if they see that on the pic.

Googled Drewdad

Maybe real name initials should be used instead?

I like attribution. Perhaps I'll put. "D. A. Drew"

I'm still working on it -- trying to get it right... keep it from getting cluttered....

I was thinking of shewolf's question about scrapbooking so I put this together. If you can't read the quote it is from Mo and says "Last night I dreamed a big shining thing came out of the water and played on the beach." Rockaway Beach, Oregon. August 5,2005:

I know scrapbooking is big business -- there is a big scrapbooking store near my studio. Perhaps I could sideline doing other people's photos into pages!

wow!
that is great!
I would pay someone big bucks for a scrapbook project like that!
and from there you could take small coloring pages, or pictres and post them aside pictures as well..Things that the kids or Mo has done that they were really proud of, or a newspaper/magazine clipping of thier ' at the moment' favorite movie, star, place to be, toy etc...

Thanks! I still have other photos to consider for it but they're on film so it'll be a while before I can really know if I want to leave it that way.

I think a friend of mine's sister is big in the scrapbooking circles -- maybe I'll talk to her and see what she thinks....

Okay....

I worked on a million layouts of the Summer one. The lines of the verse were too short to make a word frame around the image and the pop art type flowers didn't really fit with the message of the poem. I like both of those ideas a lot though and I'm going to continue to play with them. I've got a neat idea to try with the word frame!

I decided to go with something simple that allowed me to stretch the shape to 8x10 instead of 8x8, use the poem, and keep it really "clean". What do you think?

Yeah!

Thank you DrewDad for the verse. I think that it really completes the picture!

I'm going to order a print now -- I'll let you know how it turns out and what her parent's think of it.

I've been browsing through some scrapbooking sites -- wow. Some of that stuff is really eye-popping. Most of it is mixed media. Something I don't have much experience with. They are really more about graphics than photos.

Wasn't Onyxelle talking about starting a scrapbooking business?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It seems it means different things to different people.
Was she?
I haven't seen her around much lately. Isn't she a graphic artist?
I've been really impressed with some of the stuff I've looked at today. It really made my scrapbook page attempt look feeble.
Summer, her mom and her dad flipped over the photo and poem!
I think mom even shed a little tear.
Thank you all, especially you DrewDad, for your help in making it special.
The lab chicks really liked the tomato photo. The see so much stuff from so many local photographers that it always makes me feel great when they remember one and comment on it.
Happy me!
