Squinney, loved your response. I'll be thinking of your daughter this Valentine's Day, and of your sweet Grandparents.

I voted for the chocolate...

I always tell people I care about that Valentines Day is about LOVE, not about lovers. That is the only way the whole thing can actually mean anything to me.

I, too, am seriously annoyed by the hype and commercialism. Roses that can be had for $20/dzn. any other day are going for $75. (Which is why no one should buy roses on V day.)

And I certainly don't wait for V day to buy or receive chocolate. After all, it is one of the main food groups.

That's certainly true about the chocolate. I am an unwavering supporter of fair trade organic cocoa farmers.

Nah, it's very likely us, though not due to drinking.

When do your guests arrive?

Is that your "real" photo, Zane? You're very handsome. Better-looking, in my opinion, than Mr. Bushit who posted earlier with a photo.

If I weren't already married, you'd have No Problem finding a date!

I never know what the hell you two are talking about, but I've learned to live with it, and even, on occasion, enjoy it.

Now, is there some kind of dating fix-up going on in this thread for Valentine's day? Because I am in dire need of some love as soon as possible. And I'm not talkin' about wham bam thank you maam, nookie either. I'm talkin' Love, with the capital "L". The biggie. That all-time, forever, no-take-backs kind of love. Can somebody around here hook me up with that kind of thing?
