Squinney, I am hoping that ehBeth and BoGoWo will let us know something soon. I haven't received a word from Ms. Cav.

I've emailed Bo, and left a voice message for Mrs. Cav aka Buttercup. Hope to hear from her in the morning.

Great, ehBeth. There's another thread started about the buttercup one.

I'll get the link and be back.

Okey dokey. Mrs. Cav hasn't posted yet, so hopefully she can figure it out.

I suspect Mrs. Cav is at the hospital now, as it is about 7:30 p.m. here. I don't know if their hard drive at home has been repaired, or if it will have to wait til morning til Buttercup has access here again.

I sent her a pm mentioning that there were several threads (and if she follows Letty's link here, it will lead her to you, cj).

We can't thank you enough!!
Hello a2kers...

This is Mrs. Cav, using my full virtual name here. I just wanted to let you know that around 4PM today I printed out the posts (at work) and took them to Cav at the hospital. His face completely brightened up!!

We are both so very touched and honoured by your warm wishes, thoughts, prayers, and other words of comfort. Thank you so very much, from both Cav and I.

Progress report: Today was not such a good day for Cav. He had a dough-head for a day nurse, who nearly mixed up his meds. Then she "forgot" to give him one before he ate...don't go lauding the benefits of free health care in Canada just yet, you guys...anyway, he was in a bit of pain, so when I left, he was sleeping.

The good news is that the antibiotics are working, and they are killing that nasssssty staph, Precious....(sorry, I'm a Ringer, but I'm sure you've heard all about that from Cav). His infection specialist and his minion are very pleased at the results from the antibiotic IV. But they do bloat him up, and it makes him uncomfortable to say the least.

For those of you who called and left us well-wishes, I have forwarded your voice mails to Cav in writing, and he will be calling you from his bedside tomorrow. He is taking visitors, and would be happy to see anyone who wants to drop by.

As for sending personal messages that aren't posted here, you can send them to either his address or mine. I will print them out at work and take them to him as they come in.

One more thing...I have internet access at home on my very very ancient laptop, so my communications might be limited. I have to look after the real little Cav (the dog), too. I will try to post progress updates at least once every two days until Cav comes home.

Once again, thanks so much for all of your wishes. Very Happy

****MEGA HUGS TO YOU ALL****

Love,

Buttercup xox

I'll head up the road to see the lad very soon (and sorry again for my disjointed message - I really almost called you Buttercup and got all bewildered).

Buttercup, there are dough head nurses everywhere. We are all so very thrilled that things are improving with the staph. (the bacteria, not the nursing staff)

Thanks, honey, for the update.

Poor Prince, ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. Razz
