Hey, maybe you remember me, maybe not.
Anyway, I need a translation, but it needs to be kept reasonably short (maximum of 10 characters including spaces) It's not much to work with, but I will try keep it short in English. I don't need it exact, but I want a similar meaning to it, in a romantic way. So, some examples to help;
Forever loving
Yours always
Our/your/my secret
The heart of an angel
Undying love
Well, feel free to suggest whatever you like. I am trying to use a short piece of Latin in a similar way to the closing of a letter. I want to keep it short so that I can have it engraved if I like it enough. So, umm, sorry for being awkward and thanks in advance.
@Nycther,
10 characters is a tough restriction.
The best I can think of is
cor amans, loving heart.
Wow, now that is a fast reply. If you wouldn't mind, could you translate what I asked for anyway, never mind the character limits.
I think what you suggested will be great. I love reading over what you have translated for others, great work.
Thank you!
@George,
Those translations look great.
Thank you very much
I just wish that they had offered Latin as a course over here, sadly not. I love it, but will have to hold off from proper lessons for a while yet. Thanks again
Hey
How do you say
"I Got My Angel Now"
in latin?
@George,
Thanks a lot
Love that phrase on English
Beautiful words in Latin too ^^
@George,
Hiya,
Was wondering if I could ask for your help..
As far as online translations show, "Two against the world" is "Duos obviam orbis terrarium" in Latin but there seem to be a few variations.. such as "contra" or "adversus" for "against"? Do you know what the most accurate translation would be?
Any help is much appreciated!
Simon
Greetings,
i was wondering if u guys could help me in translating
"For Those I Love, I Will Sacrifice " ill be glad if u can help
take care
@srwhart,
Can someone please translate the following stuff from me?
Fallen Hero
Angel of Clarity
Thanks!
@George,
hey i was wondering if you could help me with a similar translation
"My heart you hold"
thank you
@Sarciss,
For "hero" you could use "heros" or "vir".
Heros was the word used for demigods like Hercules or Theseus.
Over time, the word came to mean "hero" in sense we use it today.
Vir is the word for man, but emphasizes the positive qualities of manhood and
was often used in the snse of "hero"
So you could say
Heros Casus
-or-
Vir Casus
Angel of Clarity
Angelus Claritatis
