Hi if you could tell me what these two phrases translate to:
Life won't wait
Love is the essence of life
Thanks
a name for my adventuring group
Hi, I'm new, but this seems the perfect place to ask my question.
I play D&D and I'm trying to come up with a name for my group, or a motto, whichever. We have a Paladin and a Cleric, they are bothers and worship Pelor the Sun God and wear gold armour. I call them both Mr. Sparkles.
We also have a Druid, a Rogue, an Underdark Ranger, a Warlock, and then there's me, the Necromancer. Suprisingly we all work together.
Anywho, I was thinking of something like "illuminating the darkness", "we illuminate the dark" or some short two word version we could use as a name.
So we have three who stand in the light, two in the shadows and two in the dark. We are an adventuring group of light and dark and I want a name to reflect that.
Any ideas?

What is "I suck" in Latin?

Can anyone help me get the translation for:
Trust no one but God
or
Trust only God
I've been searching & so far I've got
Fide nemini - which i think is trust no one & Fide Deo - trust god
But I can't find them both together in one phrase.
Could you please translate these two words from English to Latin? Thank you so much!
"Darkness"
"Light"

You've done good research.
Trust no one but God.
Fide nemini praeter Deum
Trust only God
Fide tantum Deo

I wouldn't.
I'd do it this way:
modo ad me in vivis esse sciendum
Could you translate
"What if"
into Latin?
Thanks so much George! ^.=.^
You're welcome, Suigrey and ROSEE.
Don't know if this has already been answered, but could anyone please translate : "An eye for an eye" or "Eye for an eye", not really sure which one's the right one..
Please forgive any possible grammar/spelling - mistakes, as english isn't my first language.
Thanks in advance,
Jesper
