Tico! Welcome back! And what can we get for you this fine morning?
I'll enjoy it so much, dear, while waiting for Dys' arrival...
Château Lafitte and some baguettes, please.
Oh, I do hope Dys stops in. I picked up a large bottle of Wild Turkey while I was in Colorado. Just for him.
While we're waiting...how has life been treating you lately, Francis? Has it been dreadfully hot in Paris? I hope not, for the sake of your lovely garden.
A glass of Bordeaux for the cigar-smoking gentleman at the end of the bar, Jacques. And no skimping. Only the best for this man.
ooo
a chocolate menu?
I would love anything you have that is organic and light.
: toasts eva:
wonderful place darling.
Just wonderful. ;-)
Life has been beautiful to me. During August we had a few hot days but nothing awful.
I've been hard working so I'm longing to spend some days abroad, in some far away location.
the freshest wine always smells like feet.

<giggles> Well, it's a 2001, but it IS a fresh bottle! <giggles>
Where's Sophie with those baguettes? They ought to be out of the oven by now....<tap, tap, tap>
Just a few minutes, she says. They're scoring the tops now. They don't take long to bake. Sophie insists you should have them warm from the oven.
it is ok Eva ;-)
I dont mind waiting for what is good.
Anyone up for a game of cards??
Hold 'em?
Or is that out of place for a wine cellar?
What shall we play, Shewolf?
And Francis...what "far away locations" do you have in mind for your next trip? Do tell...<sigh>...you're always going to such wonderful places.
I've not decided yet but I was thinking going West.
However, I'm considering the event of hurricans...
I dont mind a game of hold 'em..
though, i have only played twice.
refresh me on the rules and i will atttempt to win.
Yes, we can play Texas Hold 'Em here, Tico.
As for any other type of Hold 'Em, Shewolf....perhaps you should take those games upstairs! (It's a very nice hotel.) Or over to Kicky's Saloon. I understand they love those types of games!
Oh, Jacques...stop frowning. They're not going to do that here.
<aside> He's a wonderful sommelier, and he does take his responsibilities very seriously, but he can be a bit of a prude...nice man, though. Very trustworthy. He's the only one who has keys to this place besides me.
Was that a typo? Should it read, "i wasn't..."
If so, I apologize. I thought you would laugh. I suppose it wasn't a very good joke.
Let's have some food.
SOPHIE!!!
I think she meant: "I want to be a perv"
Right, shewolfnm?
