@tsarstepan,
I fear for Napa/Sonoma myself, such beautiful country - I have loved it so, as I've driven through it a lot on my way north or south, sometimes stayed a while. Heck, when I had my famous to myself eye surgery crisis and had to be rushed to the right surgeon further south, I recuperated at my friends' big galumphing old house in Napa, and the husband was a wine expert. Well, still is, to this day. Not bad with food either. They took me to all the right places, where I, a person with diminished sense of smell, could wallow around great wines from great vines, sip, sip, especially at Kenwood, where there was a good restaurant and a field of hundred year old vines. I've probably a photo somewhere, of DD and me in the vineyard.
My father was born in Santa Rosa, not far away from wine areas, back in 1906.
