Also, doesn't Jersey have more acres of woods per capita than any other state? Something about the Pine Barrens.

The New Jersey Pine Barrens or Pinelands, is a unique environmental treasure. It covers about 1 million acres of largely undeveloped land in the nation most densely populated state (NJ) It is designated as a biosphere reserve by the United Nations and a "Last Great Place" by the Nature Conservancy for its environmental importance. It contains wild waterways including the Batsto River, Mullica River, Wading River, Maurice River, and Great Egg Harbor River. For more information click on Pine Barrens Fact Sheet.

Cape May's pretty darn nice.

The tollbooth drop money in thingies are too high for people in short cars though. I lost more money trying to fling it up into the bucket ...

Another non-controversial point of view:

Compared to other states, a disproportionate number of New Jersey people are on public assistance.

New Jersey leads the nation in the percentage of women who are infected with HIV.

New Jersey has the highest auto insurance rates in the nation.

New Jersey has the highest property taxes in the nation. In fact, your average property tax bill is now a whopping $5000 per year!

New Jersey has the highest cigarette tax in the nation.
New Jersey has the second highest statewide housing costs in the nation.
New Jersey has the fifth highest amount of tax-supported debt in the nation.

New Jersey has one of the highest statewide costs of living in the nation.

New Jersey collects income taxes, sales taxes, property taxes, sin taxes, casino taxes, tourism taxes, and highway tolls, yet the state has massive budget problems.

New Jersey ranks first in the nation in per-pupil spending, but its students' reading and math scores only achieve an average national ranking.

New Jersey is the most densely populated and overcrowded state in the nation. Hope you like standing in long lines and sitting in traffic jams.

The Jersey shore (don't say beaches) is vastly overrated. First, you have to fight your way through traffic jams and toll booths. Next, you have to pay for parking. Then you have to pay for beach tags to use a public beach! Finally, the ocean will be murky, freezing cold, or filled with jellyfish.

Atlantic City will always be a cut-rate resort compared to Las Vegas.
