Men are individuals, just like women, there's no one look universally accepted by all. Take Chai's advice and dress how you like to look, and take heed with the shoes. Feet can blister up very quickly without comfy shoes. I thought my shoes were alright for walking until I went on holiday to Copenhagen.

I got loads of blisters, and I was only there for four days.

Most guys would prefer you not be dressed at all. But I guess that is a thread for another day.

As someone else wrote, just wear what you are comfortable wearing. If he is going to base his opinion of you on what you wear, then you need to look elsewhere for a guy. Just saying.
