No.
But you may be asking something other than what you wrote. Look it over...and if you meant something else...post it and I will respond.
That's just immature, Frank.
Act your age.
My views on the above.... I presume most of us (including Frank) are aware that "presupposition"
may have been what catquas intended to write. It seems to me, that Frank did an excellent job, he gave the author a chance to amend his post and rectify the situation (it's called "self help")
If I'm unaware of the meaning of a word, I either look it up, or I don't use it... But, maybe catquas
believed to the best of his
knowledge that he was using the correct word? In which case, Frank's reply was (IMHO) still quite appropriate...what is Frank, the Enigma machine?
The only part of Frank's post I feel
may have been a little blunt, was ......
catquas wrote:Isn't all knowlege belief?
Maybe a little blunt, but a quick look in any dictionary would have explained the difference between "knowledge" and "belief"
So to summarise... maybe Frank was a little harsh, but before posting, isn't it always a good idea to gather as many facts as possible?
Twincams
I find it likely that catquas meant proposition and accidentally missed a key.
Frank made an underhanded attack on catquas' intelligence in his statement, and I think it was just a typo (MHO). Furthermore, it was just a cop-out, since the pace of this thread is moderate enough to cover up the issue with a dozen or two posts before catquas gets back to it.
Any normal person would have answered the question he knew was meant instead of badgering the guy (or gal) about a typo (or best case scenario, a case of improper diction). If he is so condescending that he just must draw everybody's attention to a minor (and unrelated to the topic) mistake, do so and get on with the ideas being expressed. Don't just attack the words and not the meaning.
And, Frank, most of us got over the "I know you are but what am I" retort in gradeschool.
-Edited because I mixed up lash and catquas...apologies!
