Should we show respect for other people's "beliefs?"

I almost agree.

Just your first line I can't quite agree to.

Open mind..yes.

Try to understand, and see the others view...yes.

Respect....not automatically no. When someone says "All Jews oughtta be exterminated", I want to reserve the right not to respect that view until he can convince me that I should.

I think what you mean when you say "we should all respect one anothers beliefs", you assume an implied "within reason"....meaning that it is implied that views that "most reasonable people" find detestable are not included.
