I once read about a tradition in Slovakia where a woman will put a lit candle on her head to let a man know that she is ready for some lovin'. Which is why I wasn't very surprised when Dasha did this...
My, Dasha looks dashing with that candle on her head. Who talked her into that?
More pics please.
Talked her into what? She doesn't need no talking into to put together a well-composed ensemble like that!
Is danger her middle name? hehehe
She has beautiful skin.
I think Dagmaraka means danger in Slovakian.
<teehee>
That picture was from when we were playing the Slovak Candle Game. You put the candle on your head and then try to walk across the room. If you drop the candle or stop you have to remove an article of clothing.
Did anyone go home wearing my plaid shirt? I need it back.

Yes, I did. Sorry I kept it so long. Here it is.
Oh yeah? Ask Misha what candle on one's head means in Slovakia. Certainly not "Ooh I want you so bad...". It means "I would rather stare at a burning candle on my head then look at you," Mr. "Dasha, I would even drink hot wax, just please don't send me home yet!"
Um, has Panzade's avatar changed, or did I have one toomany beers?
Look at the Kickycan Man, up close and personal!
Hi Kicky with a candle <waves at large pic, of kick>
Next thing you know, Paula, will be Kicky asking to marry you. Just watch.

Hehehe...well, at least it was better than that damn IPA crap. How do you drink that stuff?
Heehee! I knew that would get you over here. That was my first taste of it. Kind of bitter. Not really all that bad, actually. But I'll stick with my piss-yellow domestic crap.
look, kicky. littlek is half irish, i am a 100% slovak. we know a good beer when we see one. she's half italian, too, which is probably responsible for her liking of that undrinkable stout stuff, but all in all, a sensible woman she is.
Boy, you two really stick up for each other, don't you?
Okay, okay, she's sensible. Still, that IPA stuff doesn't hold a candle to good ol' Michelob.
no, it is apparently you who does.
the italian side is the wine-loving side.
Michelob - bah!
