I have really good news for you this morning.
But first,
let me ask you...
when was the last time you were perfect?
I was absolutely perfect about a week ago.
I made absolutely perfect soft-boiled eggs absolutely perfectly.
Here's the secret
Rev. William Federici, Holy, Wholly
Well done, Joanne!!!! I like mine with the white all hard and the yolk with a little harder outside, but runny inside.
That was really fascinating, wasn't it?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm?
I don't eat boiled eggs...
Yes, quite.... but...IF you did, which end would you open it?
I like mine sunny-side up... and when I cook'em, I like my yolk not really runny, not really hard, you know, in the middle kind of neat, whatever...
Small-end opener, meself... Unless... I want to have my egg on a sald, or sandwich.... then I just crack it open with extreme power!!! HA! Smash on the counter... no wait, that's for the eggsalad, just a sec here...
Egg smeg, what the hey! Ever tried Eggliqeur?
dlowan, I hope you're satisfied. This thread got me in the mood for eggs. I had some for dinner. Not boiled. Fried--sunny side up. Nothing runny. And an English muffin with butter and strawberry jam.
If my cholesterol goes up, it's on your head. Hmmm. Are eggs still bad for cholesterol? The conventional wisdom seems to change fairly often.
Bigdice - yay!
Roboida - on your own noggin be the choesterol thereof - my latest guru says thay are ok - but did you cook 'em in butter?
Apparently our liver produces 90% of our cholesterol so you're ok unless you eat your liver !
