Yes, Raggedy, that question was asked twice in a row!
Thank you, Mac. Like the old man said in Moonstruck, "I'm Confused".
Yup. Harold Russell.
What is the only Hollywood movie for which ALL of its actors and actresses were nominated for Oscars?
Tim,
...The three I put in the poll, I figured would be apart from the field, in most people's mind. That's why I encouraged those that had another favorite, to speak on it. You are the first one, so I may have been right.
...after I had posted, I realized I should have put "other", among the choices.
Too funny, booman. I simply assumed that you, like most everyone else, thought that Letterman was so bad at it that he didn't deserve consideration. Thanks for the explanation.
Good question Equus, that will take some thought.
Equus: Probably Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? inasmuch as all four were nominated, Taylor and Dennis winning.
Thanks Raggedy, by the way for the Campion answer, indeed asked twice.
You're welcome LarryBS.

Now, if someone would just answer that Uma/Oprah question. It's driving me up a wall.
By George, you're right about 'Virginia Woolf.' I didn't know that. Well, there must be TWO because I'm thinking of a different movie. Like 'Virginia Woolf', it had a small cast and was adapted from the stage.
That would be Sleuth with Larry Olivier and Michael Caine
Equus - Maybe, Sleuth. Laurence Olivier and Michael Caine were both nominated. I'm pretty sure it was a stageplay. (I'm trying to think of movies with the smallest casts)

Equus. Hiama and I posted at the same time, but Hiama was here first so Hiama wins.
Name the two men and their films to have been nominated the same year as Producer, Director, Actor and Screenplay.
For a bonus point which one achieved the feat twice, and for which film?
Hiama: My first thought was Woody Allen and Warren Beatty, but they were a year apart. I'm clueless.
Orson Welles had all those nominations for Citizen Kane, and won for Best Screenplay. I can't think of anyone else!
I was thinking of Woody Allen for Annie Hall and Warren Beatty for Reds. He might also have been nominated for all four for Heaven Can Wait, but I'm not sure.
I think Woody and Beatty have both done it, but I don't recall any two doing it in the same year.
Between you all, you got it
Orson Welles for Citizen Kane
Warren Beatty for Reds, he also did it with Heaven Can Wait
