I wonder why people continue to dislike the French...

Thanks for the links, JW and Walter. As usual; Tony Blair; magnanimous... Chirac; just an ass.

Question

Btw: many Labour party members in Britain (Blair is a socialist and Chirac a conservative, you remember?) believe it is high time Mr Blair stopped trying to walk his high wire and started rebuilding bridges with Europe before he falls off and hurts himself.

Walter, I believe the photo I posted was the monument of a British soldier being defiled in France.

This is a new one?

Even if, what has Chirac to do with it?
I don't blame Blair neither for the anti-American, anti-German, anti-... graffitti I've photographed in Britain.

Oh, no, no. Just didn't want you to think that "I" thought that was a monument for American soldiers. Although that may have happened over there as well.

Just curious to me how Chirac conveniently forgets there might be more sinister things than pouring French wine down the drain.

C'mon, Walter, work with it.
This way you can blame Bush whenever any American does anything nasty in regard to any other country, or citizen of another country.
It's brilliant.
Thanks to JW for making it so obvious.
Very Happy

Well, I didn't speak with his Blair about those graffittis I photographed but a minister in his (I mean: Her Majesty's) Foreign Office.
He had a pint of draught lager on that.

In the meantime, for Bill, a link to Bordeaux futures: http://www.1855.com/?dest=us&zone=int&lg=en&-session=1855:413250F81b3f42ECF7vly2913BC9

Save yourself some coin on some keepers! Oh, and check out the free bottle of champagne offer from 1855 on the right hand side. Browse carefully, go for the lesser houses. Don't jump the gun at the well-known names. We bought a half case of Margaux from a 5th house for a steal in 1995 and it was excellent.

Say, does anyone recall the Simpsons episode with the ticket taker at Euro Disney? "Allo allo? Anybody? Come on, my children need wine!" I paraphrase.

I'll check that out later Cav, thanks.

Meanwhile, move over Chirac... Kofi Annan ordered the UN flags lowered to honor the murderer of Olympic atheletes in Munich (and thousands of others). Meanwhile they're now saying 20 billion was skimmed from Oil For Food with impunity and Kofi is blocking investigative attempts to get to the truth (perhaps because his son is a benefactor of the scam?). I think it's time to send the UN to the history books.

Can't see any light between Anti-Mass murderers and thieves and Pro-U.S. Walter? You shouldn't be so down on the world.

True, but also that Chirac himself speaks for Europe.
