@ossobuco,
Yes - isn't that an awesome tree?
It was just so green and representative of Spring (to me) Osso.
There was another beautiful tree to the left of that one (facing the ruin) - it was deeper green shiny leaves and just beginning to break into white buds - small, but beautifully shaped. I don't know what kind it was - but I couldn't get it in this shot as it was too short and I had to tip my camera up to miss these three people who were standing next to the arch for ages and wouldn't move.

Spring has sprung around here in North Texas. We have had some major storms come through after a long dry spell and the flowers literally erupted out of the ground. This one I found extremely beautiful. When ever I have a yard again you can bet that I will plant some.
They were in the botanical gardens by my home. I believe they are called Moon Flowers, but I can't swear to it.

@Walter Hinteler,
Walter, Your Sept 7, 2008, picture of the car and trees in the background is about the most "perfect" picture I have ever seen. Perfect composition.
This was my first visit to this thread, and enjoyed all the pictures. I was impressed with many of Walter's contributions.

Great stuff. I'd put some of mine up but they pale...
Panzade - I don't believe yours would pale in comparison. I have a vivid memory of a photo of a tree with twisty branches that you posted on the photo gallery thread once. I remember liking it a lot and thinking it was a really good photo.
And I agree with Osso - I'd like to see Florida in the spring, summer, winter and fall (autumn)...
Yes, it was a great photo and now I can't find it!

Just a few of Dartmoor - Pew Tor, 26 degC and super gorgeous up there on October 2nd, 2009 (errr.... yep, it's supposed to be really chilly here right now!)
Ah, my rich uncle (the way I thought of him) lived there in a similar house. I could probably drag up the address (facing the water) for my own interest, but not inclined. That was the uncle my mother didn't talk with for decades. I didn't hate him like she did, visited him after she died, went to his funeral. We irish have our ways.
