At the end of this autumn I noticed that I didn't take a lot of photos during this years "Indian Summer".

So here's a snapshot, I took a week ago a former ironwork in Duisburg/Germany. (Now used as a museum. Further information: http://www.landschaftspark.de/de/home/index.php )

In the early morning, autumn has been quite misty and darkish ...

You see just the landscape ...



.... or a deer, when it's near enough

But a bit later, the deer is to be seen much better (well, I have to admit that these are fenced)



But while in the pic above the leaves aren't yellow yet, those of other kind of trees really look pretty ...

And since this farmhouse is one of my favourites, here some more pics

eastern lake ontario :
the beautiful fall-weather is still with us - sunny and still quite mild - around 18 C .
bailey and cleo are visiting for the weekend - it's CANADIAN THANKSGIVING tomorrow - a long weekend .
after breakfast we took them to one of the many parks along the shores of lake ontario .
they ran around and sniffed all the GOOD SMELLS that dogs enjoy so muc : skunk , raccoon , dead fish - they were having a great time .
bailey also made sure to leave his MARKER on all bushes and trees -
cleo tries to imitate him but often falls over in the process - but she hasn't given up :wink: .
finally we had to have rest in the sunshine and some treats were enjoyed

two weeks ago we took a drive about 100 km north of here and the trees had started to change their colours - plenty of yellow and red starting to show .

a typical fall day : sun , clouds , a few drops of rain , a good breeze out of the south-west bringing warm air - still 18 C !
some sailboarders were out to take advantage of the wind and waves !
most were far offshore , but i caught one as he was leaving the shore .
