I suspect husband is cheating and need help to know what his gmail password is. Has anyone ever hired someone to do this for you?

@Sara1078,
No, because it would violate that person's privacy and I would be paying someone who is engaging in what are highly likely to be illegal activities.

How about just having a conversation with your husband, rather than playing at cloak and dagger?

@Sara1078,
Does he ever leave his phone or computer available?

@Tiger81,
No he recently changed the password so I can't access it. He always has his phone to his side . So there is no way of having access to his phone.

@Sara1078,
If it has come to this, it is time to realize your marriage is screwed up.

Why even bother spying on him? Just leave him. You both will be much happier that way.

@Sara1078,
There's no trust, maybe you should talk to your husband about ending it.

Bullshit. This attitude that your spouse doesn't have any privacy is abusive. If my spouse ever used a keylogger or hacked into my phone, I would divorce her ass the very next day. It is also illegal to spy on your spouse, I would likely press charges.

Is there honestly anyone here who wouldn't divorce a spouse who was spying on them?

If you have to spy on your spouse, then the marriage is over. Just end it.

@maxdancona,
Yes to that, Max. One does not own the spouse. Privacy is serious.
I've no knowledge about pressing charges, though.

@ossobucotemp,
For a keylogger, Osso? Maybe I wouldn't press charges, but I would be pretty upset.

@ossobucotemp,
It is a spy program that the antagonist installs on your computer without your knowledge. It records every key you type and sends it to the villain who then (seeing every key you typed) knows your passwords and your web history at which point they have access to all of your accounts. It is one of the reasons that you shouldn't use public computers.

Nasty stuff (and pretty common in the hacker biz). A computer savvy individual with physical access to your computer can install one with relative ease.
