Bullshit. This attitude that your spouse doesn't have any privacy is abusive. If my spouse ever used a keylogger or hacked into my phone, I would divorce her ass the very next day. It is also illegal to spy on your spouse, I would likely press charges.

It records every key you type and sends it to the villain who then (seeing every key you typed) knows your passwords and your web history at which point they have access to all of your accounts. It is one of the reasons that you shouldn't use public computers.
