AP wire just reported that Kerry just called Bush to concede!!
Thank GOD!!!!!
I bet that hurt like a sore ass!
I am proud that Kerry has had the class to keep from dragging this thing out. Thanks Senator Kerry.
Can't link what the T.V. is reporting. Sorry, tech level not high enough for that.
No link yet, I heard it on FOX TV.
It's on the front page of Yahoo, too. Waiting for link to open.
Goddammit.
Look at Drudge. See the happy man.
<edit> The Drudge Report, of course.

My hat is of to Kerry.
He ran a vigorous campaign and has the grace to concede defeat.
I have one more point of respect for Kerry after not pulling a Gore.
Yes Kerry's call to concede to Bush jsut occurred officially about 3 minutes ago.

Kerry ended his quest, concluding one of the most expensive and bitterly contested races on record, with a call to the president shortly after 11 a.m. EST, according to two officials familiar with the conversation.
That's the whole thing. Yahoo links off the front page never work, but here it is:

I didn't think he'd drag it out with it looking like it was done. I guess we can all go back to work now.
this is a sad day in america.
No one ever said the popular vote was the intelligent, informed one.
It is everywhere, BBC News,CNN etc.
It is over.
But what, if the votes still swing for Kerry and he wins? Unlikely, but probably possible.
Nevertheless: George W. Bush, congratulation to you.
Last I knew, 48% voted for Kerry, not 25%.

Only about 25% of it...those who voted for Kerry.
As long as the 30% who voted for Bush are happy...
