The Forest of Hallucinations...I've been there. Lovely place with silver leaves and naugahyde bark, and the air at night is filled with boisterous caroming bumblebees that have little glowing 'taxi' signs on their heads. Lovely place.

You're right, methinks.

I always say that various professions have their own continuum - and that the continua for each profession start and end at slightly different places than do those of other occupational groups.

While many psychologists are at the very humour-filled end, their humour continuum is set back well into the humourless part of the continuum for all continua.

My goddess, this is starting to look like a proper Abuzz digression!!!!

High humor in the Supreme Court...
(the SC is now hearing a case involving the dilemma of the constitutional provisions allowing, on the one hand, that the state cannot establish a religion but on the other hand, cannot prohibit free exercise of religion. The case involves a fellow who was disallowed a scholarship from a Washington State university because he was going to use it to study theology. A finding for the student who brought the case, will have big consequences. The short pasage which follows addresses that.

Religion SUCKS. It has no place in modern society and the sooner science proves it's a worthless pile of stupid fairy tales, the better off we'll all be.
