@tsarstepan,
Is a cream or jelly filled doughnut really a doughnut since it lacks the thumb holder hole in the middle?

@tsarstepan,
Of course a hot dog and a pizza are a sandwich. Sandwich is a generic term that progressively has grown to mean something a tid bit more specific image wise but none of the fundamentals of the definitions has been turned around in terms of usage. So getting down to precise coinage yes both of those examples are a sandwich. A "hot dog sandwich" is perfectly fine talking.

Tacos do not contain bread, therefore they are not sanmmiches.

Tortillas are made with wheat flour, why aren't they bread?

I'm not talking taco bell crap tacos here, made with those hard corn things. Like said above, those are chingadera.

I'm talking real tortillas.

Pita and naan are bread.

I'm a taco truck person and an enthused taco shop person.

You want me to add some Wonder bread?

@ossobucotemp,
Please, don't. If Wonder Bread fell off the planet, the world might become a better place.
