Is he really suffering anxiety and can't make a relationship?

Hello there,
Ok I have a serious question! I am going nuts over this issue. I got introduced to a guy through a decent matrimonial platform. He sent invitation And email. He seemed decent and he's a professional. For the first two days he chatted with me very normally and he added me in whatsapp. We chatted. Although he has seen my photos: he asked me to send more photos. I did and he did send his photos too! Then he said he liked me and wanted to fall in love with me. He told that he is going to call me and I told him to call the next day. He used words such as darling baby etc. he said that I had lovely lips and so on. Then suddenly after ten minutes I got a message from him that he is not ready for a relationship and asked me to block his number and to forgive him. He also mentioned that he suffered an anxiety. I got angry and sent h a rude text and did block him. This has left me so devastated. Why people take things for granted? The way he chatted me was different to his last text. What might have gone wrong? Just want to know your opinions. I never want to experience it again and I'm so angry at this stupid man!
Thank you Smile

Don't be devastated. You knew the guy for half a week.

He means nothing.

Let. It. Go.

His "anxiety" probably comes from a GF or wife who discovered he was telling other girls he loved them.
