Well, no matter what it would have taken, he didn't do it.

I tend to think though that if they knew the email had been doctored all that would have been necessary was to provide their copies of the originals.

Not all that tough.

I hope you never have to defend yourself against lurid accusations by allowing others to troll thru all your private papers. And you know as well as I do, once you start providing your copies of memos/emails/documents to prove another's stolen copies are false.....the requests will never end.....one stinking word out of place, or another persons name mentioned and the 'need' for additional proof automatically appears, it's a bottomless pit.

Yes, I did see where a few fair minded people suggested that Podesta should release all of his private correspondence to prove WikiLeaks was inaccurate. Isn't this a little like asking the accused to prove that they are not guilty?

On second thought, maybe you're right, chickenshit is so original I have never heard the term before. Old George sure knows how to turn a phrase for the easily amused.

Well your amusement wasn't my main objective, though I do believe a little light hearted banter might do you some good.

I don't agree with your metaphor regarding Podesta. He wasn't on trial for anything. Instead he was embarassed by the malicious leaks of material hacked (apparently by Russians and possibly others), as a direct result of his own negligence regarding prevailing standards of IT security, in a world increasingly full of hackers. The embarassment arose from the confirmation of earlier reports of collusion between the DNC, the Clinton Campaign and some Media outlets to distort the processes of both the Democrat primary and the final election in favor of Hillary Clinton. The malfeasance so revealed was real, and both the wrongful actions and their subsequent release were very clearly within John Potesta's responsibility.

It was a self-inflicted wound.

This is the FL case that has been discussed before but you forget because it is convient. People were caught being registered to vote after they declined to do jury duty because they were illegal immigrants.

Some additional info on illegal immigrants registering to vote and even voting:

I hope so too. Meanwhile I'll cry a river for John Podesta, Debbie Wasserman Schulz and Donna Brazile.

@georgeob1,
Well thats even worse....these wikileaks docs would be embarrassing regardless if they were true or false, so what could or should he release in order to regain any sense of dignity. It's a losing proposition. There are people who still believe that Clinton ran some sort of slave child sex ring out of a pizza parlor in DC, it was so bad one deluded man drove from North Carolina and actually fired a weapon inside the restaurant because he was on an investigative mission. This isn't a secret, this made national news.

When people start believing every sordid tidbit thats rumored about another this becomes a deceitful and dangerous country. I am not suggesting that anyone should love Podesta, I have no interest in his opinions but that doesn't mean I think he's dispicable. I don't know Podesta. I don't even want to have an opinion about every person who ever held an opinion or worked on a political campaign.

Well, in my opinion it is just a time waster and a great tool to distract people. Keep them distracted and they don't have the time to figure out what's going on.

Oh, and thanks for the tip to lighten up. Whenever I need a chuckle, I take one of the deplorables off ignore. I'll make an effort to find other avenues for amusement.

@Baldimo,
Oh 'Townhall" AND the "Washington Times", that sounds solid, or not. And the question was 3 mil illegal voters in California....not Florida. Let me guess, once you are provided proof that it didn't happen in Florida you will simply make up more stuff and claim it happened in New Mexico?

0bama and his administration turned out to be every bit as bad for this nation as we were warned they would be... the worst president in this nation's history surrounded himself with the worst administration ever. Pathetic!

Not at all.

They only come to my mind when they put themselves out into the public view, or when A2Kers try and cast them as victims.

DBS has very wisely hunkered down. I only brought her up because she was one of the anti-Sanders villains revealed by Wikileaks, and, notably, was not defended by her party.

Evidence provided of illegal immigrants registering to vote. You asked for it, I provided it.

I can tell you didn't bother to actually read the acticles. If you did, you would see that the Townhall article talks about the article that was written and carried by NBC news. No comment on the actual subject from you. At least when I scoff at sources, I at least read them first. You didn't even bother. You wonder why there is no debate?

I made a lot of posts, with verbatim excerpts, on the illegal voting issues in another thread and don't care to go through it all again, but I'll take a minute to summarize.

Starting 5-6 years ago, the US government provided substantial funding to about 60 major universities (including Harvard, from whose website I got the information) for the purpose of compiling data about american voting patterns.

This was a massive project and and it collected information regarding dozens of demographic questions. One small part of it dealt with the citizenship of voters.

After extensive confidential polling, it turned out that about 15% of those interviewed who said they were NOT citizens, ALSO said they voted. This is probably a gross understatement, because many non-citizens who voted probably wouldn't admit it, even in "confidence."

Any estimate of illegal voting can only be that--an estimate. The "sanctuary states" (like California) refuse to disclose the data they have on illegal aliens in their state.

It is now estimated that there are approximately 20 million undocumented aliens in the US. But that is only a portion of the voter pie. "Documented aliens" are numerous, and they are also prohibited by law from voting.

Congress passed a national voter registration act about 10 years ago. Obama has refused to enforce it and, as a result, about 23 states have never complied with it. That will change once Trump takes office.
