@glitterbag,
Only in relation to Izzy. His story changes over time and becomes more and more ridiculous, he has even turned to mixing stories for better effect.

Yes, george. I read the 1040 form instructions to prepare it.

So, Al, YOU have read the "tax code" because you read instructions for ONE tax form (out of dozens), but Trump, who doesn't like paying MORE than $38 million in taxes if he doesn't have to, hasn't, ya figure, eh?

He has to know much more of the complexity of the tax code than you ever even knew existed. Not to mention that he's a graduate of Wharton, ya know?

Just another blowhard calling Trump "stupid" with no basis whatsoever, aincha?

@georgeob1,
Isn't it funny how organizations like The Commonwealth Fund, who to this day still drink from the teat of an American oil tycoon, use that money to disparage the US and the economic systems that allowed the oil Tycoon to make his billions (in today's currency of course) of dollars?

I am pretty sure that the Commonwealth Fund has some kind of Scandinavian fetish. I heard their CEO is into wooden clogs, lederhosen and rotten fish.

I had not heard this before. Yesterday, Andrea Mitchell reported that Trump transition people are purging their phone's history as they are expecting to be subpoenaed re the Trump/Russia investigations. That certainly inspires confidence in this administration, doesn't it.

And the WH counsel advised all of these people Mar 1 that they must preserve this information.

@blatham,
I heard similar reporting from other networks. I hope it's not true, not because I hope someone will get caught, but because it signals a complete disregard for the legal system. Didn't Trump claim he was going to be the law and order president?

Heh, and I bet you voted for Hillary, who burned 30,000 emails that were under subpoena, destroyed her cells phone with acid, etc., eh?

Can you show credible data backing up that claim?

In a court of law, no evidence is admissible from any witness who refuses to identify himself, and all hearsay is excluded.

Leave it to Blabby to "convict" a guy on the basis of double-hearsay involving an anonymous source, eh?

@glitterbag,
Let them destroy what they want, just because you get rid of it on the phone doesn't mean all traces of the call are gone. The phone company has records of the calls and I'm sure there is a judge somewhere that would grant access to said phone records if someone requested them as part of an investigation.

You can fool people who only look at the phone, but you can't fool the phone company who has records on their own servers. Deleting them off your phone is pointless on something of this level, it isn't cheating on your wife.

@blatham,
What are these two asking? Evidence that Andrea Mitchell reported that story on the air, or evidence the transition team folks are purging their phones????? I saw the report from Andrea, but I personally have not interviewed any member of the transition team. You know why, because I'm not a freaking reporter on the White House beat. Several outlets have reported the same info, but we don't know if it's accurate yet, do we? Unlike some gullibles, (like the dopes that think Hillary ran a child prostitution ring out of a pizza joint) I haven't made up my mind.

Having lived thru Watergate and Iran-contra, I learned that sometimes the
unthinkable is actually true. Everything will shake out sooner or later.

But it's starting to stink.

Needless to say, if you're a HOT BABE who is willing to let me feel you up, I'll tell you 20 lies that you'd like to hear. A hundred, even. Whatever....

I know. But I will be more surprised if it is not happening. We've understood for a while that this administration could be the most corrupt ever, or certainly in our lifetimes. And we've lived through Watergate and Iran/Contra and the James Watt HUD scandal and Bush's purge of non-Bushies from the Justice Department (some for failing to prosecute non-prosecutable cases of "voter fraud") not to mention what Cheney and Addington and Rove and Libby got up to. Now we have the broadening Russia investigations with Trump's ties and Manafort's ties and Flynn's ties...

It's not happy stuff. It can get very depressing. But there are lots of good people too.

After the last 70 days or so, one rather obvious truth we can note, again, is that people who despise government will not do governing well or with integrity.

I've grown fond of the idea "Look! I think what these guys think!"

For example, notice he doesn't say "I think..."
