Let's take a vote... Is this the most batshit crazy statement you've ever heard in your life?

The media won't point something out negative about Donald Trump? The media won't contradict a Republican president?

Saying the media favors Donald Trump is like saying little Chucky Schumer will be the keynote speaker at the next NRA luncheon.

Money is not evil. Money is happiness. And for those who say it isn't... They just don't know where to shop.

And in the news, the intelligence community seems pretty unanimously to conclude that Putin worked actively to tilt the election toward Trump,including hacking the DNC, which it released and the RNC, which it didn't, as well as fake news stories attempting to discredit Clinton. Trump, not unsuyrprisingly, rejects it, but it looks like a bipartisan bunch of senators are outraged, and will be pursuing investigations. Maybe the Reppublicans who suggested impeaching Trump as soon as he takes office may get their wish. Good article on this in today's NYT, available online.

Yeah right they're going to kill the Golden Goose. I have no problem with Putin exposing Hillary. And let's remember Putin had an axe to grind against Hillary because she interfered in Russian elections. As far as Putin is concerned he was doing what every other voter in the United States did when they voted for Trump... They weren't necessarily for Trump as much as they were against Hillary.

@blatham,
well heres one thing hes stuck to. I was listening to Weekend Edition and the NYT editor was explaining why he felt that Trump was actually a serial liar. (He used the example of Trumps 6 year insistence that Obama was not a US citizen (By definition in our Constitution). Then he tries to quickly dismiss his previous "beliefs" as if thatll make it go away.

Trump is a liar because he recognizes the untruth and still uses it to manipulate us . Hes a serial liar because he does it to us continuously.

His toadies dont seem to, like he, respect the truth.

GOP senators join Dems to condemn Russian political hacking

Quote:
WASHINGTON — The Republicans on the Senate Armed Services Committee are joining with Democrats in calling for an examination of reports that Russia interfered in the presidential election.

Chairman John McCain, incoming Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer and others said in a joint statement Sunday that the CIA's report of Russia's efforts in the election "should alarm every American."

The leaders said they will push "to unify our colleagues around the goal of investigating and stopping the grave threats that cyberattacks conducted by foreign governments pose to our national security." Russia was the only country mentioned in the statement.

President Barack Obama ordered a full review of campaign-season cyberattacks to be completed before he leaves office. President-elect Donald Trump has dismissed the CIA's assessment that Russia powered his defeat of Democrat Hillary Clinton.

I think WikiLeaks had little to no impact on the general election, at least in my opinion. However, to me that seems the least important point. It the simple act itself, not the motivation or even the impact, which is important.

@farmerman,
Politifact identifies Trump as a pathological liar.. nuf said. The American voters are too stupid for their own good.
Trump is a simpleton, racial bigot, and bad businessman. He declared bankruptcy four times. He inherited his wealth. Most people would have done much better with that kind of inheritance.

@Krumple,
I get voted down for being conservative in general this site. A majority of people here are hardcore liberals who would not agree with anything that doesn't sound like communism. Your right about them not understanding economics though. If they would just think about things like communism failing everywhere, our national debt after Obama, and the stock market saying thank you for Donald Trump, they might see the bigger picture.

Unfortunately most liberals just understand "free stuff", and government run business. It doesn't work. Thank God for Trump this election is all I am saying. Our economic situation is about to get a lot better

@tony5732,
Your problem is your inability to understand moderation, and jump to exaggeration. You probably don't even understand what "communism" means, because we are a democratic republic that practices capitalism as our economy.
Trump fails to understand the fundamental aspects of our economy when he threatened to impose a 35% tariff on companies that offshore their production. He's not qualified to be our president.

Now that's an impressive effort, I tellzya!

Blathy, the self-appointed hall monitor and head cheer-leader for the commies, has been a bizzy little beaver this morning, sho nuff.

He managed to collect, cut, and paste 10 straight commie-ass opinion pieces here in less than an hour, beginning at 6:00 A.M.

He really should get more than just a chintzy partipation trophy for an extaordinary effort like that, doncha think?

At this point in a transition, a president-elect is usually delving into intelligence he has never before seen, and learning about C.I.A. and National Security Agency abilities. But Mr. Trump, who has taken intelligence briefings only sporadically, is questioning not only analytic conclusions, but also their underlying facts.

“To have the president-elect of the United States simply reject the fact-based narrative that the intelligence community puts together because it conflicts with his a priori assumptions — wow,” said Michael V. Hayden, who was the director of the N.S.A. and later the C.I.A. under President George W. Bush.

Calm yourself. The NYT Article excerpt you pasted here is from an article that includes a full dose of the traditinal loftiness, presumed authority and pretentious sophistry we have since come to expect from this once excellent newspaper. Their supposed "journalistic integrity" is falling almost as fast as their financial situation.

The panties of the Democrat political elite are in a twist because the Russian hackers attacked "only the DNC and Hillary's ( allegedly secure) server" and not that of the RNC., as any properly behaving, politically correct, equal opportunity enemy should do. In addition Donald Trump has (gasp!) mocked them for their hypocrisy in trying to use this fact to deflect attention from the facts uncovered by the hacks themselves - confirming the Clinton pay-to-play corruption; the underhanded support for her from the DNC during the primary contest with Sanders; and the corrupt predebate exchanges of questions and information between the liberal media and the Clinton campaign. Their sensitivity and hyper-indignation are not only highly selective ( no talk of reform yet in the DNC), they are obviously a device for them to continue to deny the existence of the systematic and pervasive corruption that has now been confirmed.

This is not a serious national security matter: instead it is a moment of high comedy that fully reveals the demented self-absorption and delusion that grips our liberal establishment. Very hard to make this **** up.

We do indeed face a number of serious security matters ranging from the loss of confidence in America by traditional Allies; the unraveling of an already bad political and human rights situation in the Middle East; the rise of aggressive new enemies in Iran and other parts of the world; the collapse of our national systems for border and entry control, coupled with rising Islamic Terrorism (the existence of which the present Administration continues to deny), and many others.

The fact that an unfriendly nation took selective action to reveal the corruption of a departing Political administration here is certainly an affront but it is not itself a serious national concern. The exaggerated indignation, coming as it does from an Adminbistration that has so consistently ignored our real national security interests; and which has screwed up so many international issues ranging from the rise of ISIS; to the ghastly situation in Syria (remember Obama's "red line"?); to the ongoing underfunding and decay of the NATO military capability of our Allies; and steadfast refusal to enforce our laws as written on a wide range of matters including national security., is truly breathtaking.

@georgeob1,
Right, George. Their real complaint is that the truth was made available to voters. No one has ever denied the authenticity of the hacks.

No outrage like this about the russians when they were "merely" hacking top secrets from Hillary's flimsy-ass private server and reckless handling of emails. Their line was to falsely claim that no foreign agents ever hacked her.

The russians "interfered" with the election because they only exposed Hillary. Of course Hillary's co-conspirators, the main stream media, would NEVER "report" in a one-sided fashion. The media certainly didn't "interfere," did they?

Good luck, bitches:

There is still hope that Donald Trump will not make it into office.

This Monday, a lawsuit to prevent Trump from becoming President will be presented to Colorado’s federal court. Polly Baca and Robert Nemanich, Democratic members of the Electoral College who are spearheading this suit, are working to overturn Colorado law which requires that they back the winner of the state’s popular vote.

"There is nothing in the Constitution that permits or requires electors to vote the same as the popular vote in their states," they claim.

http://occupydemocrats.com/2016/12/10/electors-just-filed-lawsuit-allow-electoral-college-vote-trump/

Who knew? The constitution does not PERMIT the electors to reflect the voters' will. Like, whooda thunk, I ask ya?
