Surprised?

Surprised that some idiotic Democrat in trying to put someone in jail for blaspheming their sacred religion, global warming? Not in the least. It's what PC fascists do. The Spanish Inquisition didn't have a thing on these modern-day religious fanatics where it comes to trying to punish "heretics."

This. Oh, and bored too. Read the actual news story and there is nothing there as usual.

Anybody comment on that?

Is he worried?

If all you read is Blatham's warning about the sky falling I could understand why. Broaden your horizons and stop reading the stead y stream of spittle that Blatham produces here every day.

No further explanation is necessary...You said it all.

Between local, state and the federal govt, there are over 170 social service programs in the US, the question is why are there so many? I'm not against helping those in need, but it should be strictly done on a means testing level. We can get rid of some of those programs and shift the funds to other programs that do very much the same thing, even increase individual spending per claim.

Liberals don't mind the waste of my tax dollars as long as it continues the bloated bureaucracy and they can count on those freeloaders votes.

@McGentrix,
It was bullshit indeed !

It's truly remarkable to note how slavishly the supposedly anti- authoritarian progressive believers among us bow down to academic titles and Nobel prizes, without regard to real merit. Evidently they are natural "members of the herd", following the cow with the bell, however the bell may sound. This also fits the pattern of blatham's equally slavish attention to liberal; media and the various blogs and magazines from which he gets most of his pasted material. Natural born followers all. It is also interesting to note that most of their criticisms of their political opponents involves citing failures to conform to the various doctrines of group think to which they so incessantly affirm their loyalty. Freedom, individuality and independent thought are their enemies.

You're reading quite a lot into a snapshot of a man surrounded by reporters with microphones & recorders stuck in his face.

Do you have any facts to support this insight? Perhaps it's just another message circulating in the cocoon.

Nah, he's practicing his stand up comedy through that old canard of speaking about a person's appearance. I am sure he heard most of them while he was growing up.

@McGentrix,
You're missing the whole issue; millions of people now have health insurance which otherwise would not be available. The premium increases slowed down, which helps many people.

Yes. I've been very busy.

How many have you spoken with who don't want health insurance (if they didn't have to pay for it)

A prudent decision. You'll now have extra time to stitch up the old toe shoes and then work at the bar. Yes, I would love tickets for the next show.

The Night of the Long Knives (in the land of the short peepees)
Quote:
Breitbart News had a scoop on their hands: Audio tape of House Speaker Paul Ryan trashing then-nominee Donald Trump in a conference call with House Republicans after a vulgar video emerged of Trump saying he groped women with impunity. But the site didn’t release the tape until Monday, months after getting it.

The tape posted just hours after the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office released a damaging report predicting 24 million fewer people would be insured as part of Ryan's preferred health care plan. The exclusive audio was embedded in a story citing 15 "White House officials" who fear Ryan is bungling the Obamacare repeal process.

The release seemed to be for an audience of one, from the website led until August by Steve Bannon, now the White House chief strategist. It shows the enduring power of the site to torture Republicans deemed not conservative enough and to cause great consternation within the party.

"Breitbart's hit pieces entirely synchronize with what Bannon's interests would be," said Ben Shapiro, Breitbart’s former editor-at-large who worked for Bannon until last year. "Who's sitting pretty if this whole thing goes up in smoke? It's not Reince. It's not Paul Ryan."
