@oralloy,
No one person can abolish the Second Amendment. Did you ever study civics?
Provide proof where any party tried to abolish the Second Amendment?

Fake News - a real example of the thing and of the sort of media operation that will promote it (and almost certainly never correct their coverage of something false).
Quote:
A man described as a Swedish defense and national security adviser appeared on Fox News last week to defend President Trump’s claim that criminal immigrants are wreaking havoc in Sweden. But according to court records and Swedish officials, the man, identified as Nils Bildt, has a criminal record in the United States and no ties to Sweden’s security establishment.

In fact, he may not even be named Nils Bildt.

“We don’t know this guy,” said Mikael Abramsson, a spokesman for the Swedish military. “We have never heard of him in the Swedish armed forces, and he cannot speak on our behalf.”

That sentiment was echoed by Rasmus Eljanskog, a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who said no one by the name of Nils Bildt worked there. Magnus Ranstorp, the head of terrorism research at the Swedish Defense University in Stockholm, went one step further. “There isn’t any Nils Bildt,” he said.

You really are full of crap.

How can the Democrats abolish a Constitution article, with the GOP having the majority on both houses?

Quote:
Article V provides two methods for amending the nation's frame of government. The first method authorizes Congress, "whenever two-thirds of both houses shall deem it necessary" (a two-thirds of those members present—assuming that a quorum exists at the time that the vote is cast—and not necessarily a two-thirds vote of the entire membership elected and serving in the two houses of Congress), to propose Constitutional amendments. The second method requires Congress, "on the application of the legislatures of two-thirds of the several states" (presently 34), to "call a convention for proposing amendments"

Such a despicable human, this one.

George W. Bush doesn't criticize Obama in 8 years, yet takes thinly veiled swipes at @realDonaldTrump 6 weeks in. #LowerEnergy

Partisanship over principle. Had Obama ever waged a war on media as "the enemy of the people", Bush would very definitely, and correctly, have spoken out.

And just imagine what Ingraham would have said.

She is just one of very many who have become multi-millionaires through acting as a troll and propagandist within the right wing media universe.

What are the chances that Trump will cite this incident with full details? What are the chances Fox will carry it with full details? Breitbart?
Quote:
After Adam Purinton allegedly shot three people inside a Kansas bar last week, killing one, the 51-year-old reportedly fled the scene and drove about 80 miles to an Applebee’s restaurant in Clinton, Missouri.
The restaurant proved to be an effective hideout for at least a short time until Purinton confided in a female bartender that he was on the run from the cops. After Purinton confessed, the bartender called 911, telling the dispatcher that Purinton believed he had “killed two Iranian people” in the attack.

@cicerone imposter,
Abolish isn't the correct word, but enact enough laws, regulations/restrictions, taxes and fees on guns and you make it almost impossible to own a gun or even practice with one.

Obama was issuing executive orders directing the government to violate the rights of large swaths of the American people.

Hillary, had she been elected, would have continued and expanded those executive orders.

Trump is going to reverse those executive orders so that people will not have their rights violated.

Obama also appointed judges to the courts who maliciously allow the Second Amendment to be violated.

Hillary would have done the same.

Trump will appoint judges who will enforce the Second Amendment.

From Jennifer Rubin on Trump's phony populism
Quote:
Democrats might figure out that those working-class voters they lost in 2016 are getting left high and dry. A smart strategy would be to point out just how much of what Trump is promising is useless bait for anti-immigrant xenophobes (the wall) and policies that benefit upper-income people. It’s almost like he swindled his more desperate voters.

No they are not, except you wouldn't know a fact even if it bite you in ass.

Your facts are the same kind of Trump's facts: alternative facts, also called lies.

In your case, also false claims, propaganda, unverifiable hypothesis and so on.

@blatham,
Trump is following his true color of scamming the majority by making statements that are totally misleading.
Trump wants to increase spending on defense without touching social security and Medicare, but that's impossible. The only way he can do that is to increase the federal deficit. Most of the interest payments are already going to China and Japan. They're going to end up owning our country.

Sounds reasonable. These Leftist types are bad news.

Personally I'd just ship all the liberals down to Guantanamo. But whatever.
