Septic tank, yank.

It’s rhyming slang, it works because like a septic tank you are full of ****.

I’m talking about you, not all Americans.

I wonder how this crowd would have felt about the signers of the Declaration of Independence?

Hightor replied:
This attempted analogy is totally inept.

In your humble opinion.

The line about ‘pledging their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor' to those ideals probably gets a real laugh from this crowd. I’d call them Liberals, but they aren’t. They are far too squishy to deserve the title. I hear'em say, 'Hey, the Constitution is not a suicide pact.'. Right there, smoking gun evidence of spinelessness.

Thanks again Doc. I needed that

@hightor,
But this was the way she appeared in front of the press that day (for about 30 seconds without taking any questions).

@snood,
I believe you. I was only pointing out the difference between the color rendition in the photos — it would be just as striking were the color quality adjusted to be equal.

Did criminal Kevin Greeson just die of a heart attack, or did he taser himself in the bollocks?

I really hope the latter is true because we could do with a bit of humour right now.

Every reputable source I read makes the bollocks part unsubstantiated rumor, and only attests to the heart attack part.

@izzythepush,
The taser preceded the heart attack.

@Leadfoot,
Quote:
They should have their pens taken away! They should not be allowed to purchase parchment!

The analogy fails because writing on a piece of paper is not the same as having access to someone else's platform, posting misinformation and calling for violence, and forcing them to distribute the message around the world. If they wrote up a manifesto proclaiming that the world was flat and calling for the prosecution and trial of Tories that would be legal. But forcing every newspaper to print it would not be.

Source? I know it’s a juicy rumor, but it still makes a difference whether it’s true or not.

When Twitter bans Nazis, insurrectionists, white supremacists, & those who advocate such, and Republican politicians complain that “conservative speech is being censored,” they’re admitting to more than they think they’re admitting to.

@snood,
He’ll go down on the list of stupid deaths regardless.

It was a section on Kid’s TV Horrible Histories, death would talk to a historical figure who died in a stupid way, like Henry I who died from eating a surfeit of lampreys. Still not as stupid as tase ring yourself in the nutsack.

For those people who think the Twitter or Facebook bannings were illegal...

...they must also think the banning of individual posters in Internet forums is illegal also.

Why?

If A2K (or any other forum) wanted to ban someone for violating its stated rules of conduct...it could. And there would be no questions about whether or not it could.

You've got a straw man going there with use of "all". The important issue here is where one finds neo-nazi followers and white supremacist and in both case, they are almost entirely to be found in right wing politics.
