@MontereyJack,
A self pardon will take care of any federal prosecution.

The long term solution is to outlaw the Democratic Party of course.

In related news, the old Trump Plaza casino in Atlantic City is set to be demolished in 29 January 2021, just over a week after Biden is sworn in as President.

The old Trump Marina/Castle is now the Golden Nugget, and the old Trump Taj Mahal is now Hard Rock Casino.

@oralloy,
A self-pardon would be found unconstitutional. No one is ablve the law. And that wouldn't protect him from the non-federal crimes he committed, which SDNY is going to get him on. And of course outlawing the Democratic party is a purely nonsensical pipedream, make thsat an oipium pi[edream, you've been smoking for four years now.

@revelette3,
I was worried a lot. It wasnt till the writ was being posted and assigned to some clerks did I have an inkling that it was over for Herr Plump.

Usually clerks get assigned to reviews of lower court decisions whenevr the outcome isnt in doubt and theyre just looking for somw details to make sure evrything is checked TWICE more.

My respect for this courts independence has gone up several decades worth. Poor Don, hes as ignorant of the US Constitution as is our own Ollie-go-lightly

Unlikely.

Keep in mind that the Democrats do not have enough votes on the Supreme Court to disregard the Constitution.

I have addressed that over and over and over again with no response from you.

Go answer one of the replies that I already made if you want to discuss it.

The only nonsense is the narrative you believe. Like I said, no change coming.

@oralloy,
Quite likely, especially now tha trump's days are numbered, his AG isn't backing him up, and his court packing was not enough to pull his ass out of the fire.

Federal prosecutors and federal courts do not enforce state laws.

You know what? Go right ahead with that plan, especially as you previously made it clear that this proposal is basically a name change. According to you, no one is going to jail, no one is removed from office, just the Democratic Party name is banned. Absolutely nothing to be done with the many Democratic leaders on the local, state, and federal levels.

No. The Democrats do not have the votes to disregard the Constitution.

Mr. Trump will be able to pardon himself if he chooses to do so.

I said I would be willing to remove people from office.
