And that speaks to the thing that’s so egregious about what the republicans are doing right now. By giving place to this fable about a corrupt election, they are poisoning democracy itself.

It’s fucked up in the same way that caused large numbers of people today still believing Obama is not a native born American. Because they absorbed the foul lie about a birth certificate.

Those 20,000-plus lies that Trump has told have leeched their way into our collective consciousness, just by virtue of how fast they multiply and the weight of their numbers.

Because of the boldfaced lie being allowed to spread, there will be large swaths of the population who will always believe that Joseph Robinette Biden was not a legitimate president.

The longer they spread this lie about “illegal votes”, the more damage will be done - and not just to Biden’s presidency, but to Americans’ faith in government and the democratic election process.

Trump will leave on 01/20/2021, but they are doing damage that’s going to last a long time.

It is not a fable, and your post is the most disingenuous piece of garbage I have ever read.

Did you read they had people born in 1900 voting in Michigan? Thank God Democrats are that stupid.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 52% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-seven percent (47%) disapprove.

The latest figures include 40% who Strongly Approve of the job Trump is doing and 39% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of 1.

Does not look like a president that lost an election.

Same deal as the fake dossier of Russian collusion, right? Knobheads still believe that crap, despite it being proven to be a Hillary/Obama fabrication.

And Obama's legacy is the destruction of Libya. Not where he was born.

Legislature in a Battleground State Calls an Emergency Session Over Voting Irregularities

Hmm. The state legislature is a credible source. I did not see this on any network. If they are going to meet in an emergency session these irregularities need to be explained. Hopefully they will pursue this until the answers are found.
Quote:
The legislature ended up slapping state election officials with a subpoena for documents related to the state's election process, the Detroit Free Press reported.

House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. Matt Hall (R-Marshall) said the investigation was necessary so Michiganders have confidence in the state's election processes.

“I have gotten hundreds of calls and emails from people in Calhoun and Kalamazoo counties who say they have no faith in our election system based on what they have seen since Tuesday," Hall said. "People have seen news reports of challengers being denied access to polling locations. They see windows being covered up to prevent people from watching ballots be examined and tabulated. Software errors have mistakenly awarded votes to a candidate. These instances and images have led to controversy, confusion and frustration — and it certainly is not a model of transparency."

Transparency is like a cross to a vampire for Democrats.

Remember, his criminal tendencies weren't acquitted or pardoned , thy were merely delayed. Our process of achieving final justice is often long and was dellayed in this case. The GOP has gone totally "lapdog" to this clown. Outside of two GOP senators who have their backbones , the rest are all TOADIES to TRUMP.

Thats ok, his future will soon be in the hands of our entire justice system and he will not be able to "pardon himself" to avoid prosecution.

There are many people whove lost thousands of dollars in the false promises of "Trump UNiversity" (Thats but one of several counts of self-dealing.

I just wanted to get him off the map, but Im rethinking a fact that he needs tobe held accountable for hi amoral acts

Apparently a president can pardon someone for a crime for which they've yet to be indicted. So I'm guessing his entire family is off the hook. As for not being able to pardon himself - has this ever been tested?

Joe Biden want to finally have a government that listens to science re Covid-19. The problem is he won't be sworn in for another 10 weeks or so. At your current rate of infection, the US will pass 5M active cases in less than 3 week. Your country has got less that 1M hospital beds (for the few who can afford health care at all), and covid has a hospitalization rate of approximately 20% of all cases. For those of you who can count ie. not Trump voters, in 3 weeks, the entire United States health system will simply cease to function.

@Wilso,
For federal crimes only.

Presidential pardons can't be applied to state offenses.

So if the state of New York presses state charges on an individual, a Presidential pardons can't help them. The state governor does have the power to pardon for state offenses.

Everyone says the lawsuits are being thrown out of court. Apparently these are not being tossed. Have the networks covered these lawsuits and what they claim? No, the keep saying there is no evidence when there is an abundance of it.
Quote:
Pennsylvania:

To compel Philadelphia election officials to stop counting ballots.
To compel state election officials to allow Trump campaign officials closer observation of the counting process.
To compel Pennsylvania Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar and all 67 counties to impose an earlier date for voters to show proof of identification if it was not on their initial ballots.
To compel the Montgomery County Board of Elections to stop counting mail-in-ballots.
To intervene in an already existing dispute before the U.S. Supreme Court about whether ballots the state received after 8 p.m. on Election Day should count.

Nevada:

To impose an injunction on the automated signature-verification machines used in Clark County as ballots continue to be counted.
To compel state election officials to allow the public closer observation at a Clark County ballot-counting facility.

Michigan:

To halt the counting of absentee ballots, on the grounds that campaign officials had not been given access to observe the process as required by state law.
To halt the certification of election results in Detroit, Michigan’s largest city and a Democratic stronghold.

Georgia:

To disqualify about 53 ballots.

So I guess my next question is - what odds that before the inauguration, Trump leaves the country, and lands somewhere without an extradition treaty?

@Wilso,
I agree with Michael Cohen about what’s probably going to happen. I think Trump goes to Mar-a-Lago for the holidays, and just never returns to Washington DC. - fir the inauguration or anything else.

I don’t think he’s going to leave the country right away - not until he starts feeling some heat from lawyers with indictments or lawsuits breathing down his neck.

It will continue to function, it will just have to be more selective. This will result in higher death counts.
