The Washington Examiner is a lopsided paper leaning to the more conservative side of things. Similar to FOX 'News", it is not entirely reliable. That said, yes, in this matter, they reported correctly. The Trump camp staff are doing their owner's bidding, parroting his words. He too keeps mumbling about election theft and fraud. So far those claims have been shown to be false.
Additionally, without also citing Plouffe's Inverter and the Inverse symbolic calculator, your reference to Benford's Law is reduced in size and value. Further, while usually accurate, Benford's can at moments be violated. This is such a moment. Not fraud.
