@BillW,

From your source:
Quote:
After camera crews set up at the White House on Monday, Trump sat down with host Lesley Stahl for about 45 minutes on Tuesday before he abruptly ended the interview and told the network he believed they had enough material to use, according to two sources.

How is that a meltdown? Non story.

@snood,
That’s a different analogy to the attitude of post war Germany.

They were a defeated nation, there’s not just the guilt, there’s the suffering they endured and were still enduring in the East. The feeling they’d been punished enough may have skewed answers.

That’s not where Trump is right now, it’s more like the situation in the early 1930s, where like today fascists used the excuse of left wing agitators to start cracking a few heads and firing a few shots.

Trump calls for special prosecutor to probe Hunter Biden's 'major corruption'

If Mr. Biden manages to win the election, Mr. Trump should appoint an entire battery of independent prosecutors to relentlessly hound the Biden Administration with criminal investigations.

He probably doesn’t really give enough of a crap about chasing after Biden to keep doing it after the election is over. Do you really think Trump cares about any of that stuff? You think his accusations of Biden really come out of some deep need for law and order?

Anyway, Trump and his lawyers might find themselves a bit busy defending Trump to be worried about trying to prosecute anyone else.

@izzythepush,
So to answer my question, no.

I hope you do that obtuse pedantic thing on purpose. I’d hate to think it was just an affliction.

Not his, the country's deep need for law and order and equal justice. Someone has to do it. Democrats have shown they don't want laws and detest order.

And do you think Trump cares enough to devote time and resources - after this election is over - to try to get Biden indicted?

@snood,
Why should it be up to the president?

Don't you have a regular legal system in place to deal with criminals on any level?

If he is still president I do not care what he does with Biden. He will have better things to do than jail a senile old man. Like losing the entrenched assholes that let politicians pull that ****.

There is a difference between an independent prosecutor and a personal defense attorney.

Outlawing the Democratic Party will put an end to their attempts to abuse the law to harm people who disagree with them.

@oralloy,
won't happen, however you might wish it to be so. Dems have USED the law, which includes provisions for using it when others, like trump, abuse the law. He abused the law before he ever ran for prez, and has done nothing but abusae it since he's been in office. He's the abuser, not the dems, and he's losing more and more every day.

Appointing an independent prosecutor will not require much in the way of time and resources.

All the president would need to do is sign an order.

He will have to do that for each independent prosecutor that he appoints, but it shouldn't be too taxing.

Look man, I was just responding to what CJ said. I don’t care if we’re talking about Trump or some other person or group to “go after” Biden after the election - It ain’t gonna happen.

The only reason Trump’s slinging accusations 2 weeks out is because he’s desperate. The accusations are bullshit. And everyone knows it.

All it takes is a vote in the House and Senate, and then the President signing it into law.

Wrong. It is an abuse of power for the Democrats to use the law as a weapon to harm people who disagree with them.

It’s amusing that you think he really even gives a damn about pursuing Biden legally. Everyone except you Trump true believers knows that he’s just slinging accusations out of desperation.

@coldjoint,
hwhaty nonsense. It's the dems who want law and order for ALL, and the repubs who've quASHED THAT DESIRE, WHICH IS WHY THEY LOST THE hOUSE IN 2018 AND WILL LOSE THE GOVERNMENT IN TWO WEEKS.

If Mr. Trump appoints independent prosecutors to investigate an incoming Biden Administration, they will carry out their investigations.

Utterly false. The law is there to be used when peole like trymp abuse it. He LWAYS HHAs, he always wilkl, and it's well past the time he should have been shut down, so now it must be done in two weeks and see the end of him
