I'd venture to say that lots of non-black voters would be delighted to vote for Trump instead of Biden simply because they are narked by such unwitting remarks tossed out by such soft-headed black journalists.

Just keep making such toe-curling comments if such far-left black racists want to help Trump get elected.

Biden would be well advised to stay away from such far-left sorts and cleave to his centrist roots.

Yes it was the revenge of the racists in 2016 putting a stop to having blacks or even worst women as President an we surely would not wish to upset those white racists now would we.

The first president who live in the white house was Jefferson a slave holder who sleep and father children with one of his slaves an then we had gone so far wrong that instead of just having black slaves sleeping with out presidents we allow them to sleep in the white house as president!!!!

@BillRM,
Most White people don't object to berating their ancestors for having supported slave trade . That's why The Economist, which has lots of white writers and editors, doesn't shy away from telling its readers that "of the seven most important Founding Fathers, only John Adams and Alexander Hamilton did not at some point own slaves. Nine early American presidents were slaveholders," in an article published this month.

At the same time, some black writers working at The Washington Post and the New York Times have spouted racial slurs designed to vilipend white people. The Post's Karen Attiah, who's black, tweeted,"white women are lucky that we are just calling them ‘Karen’s. The Time's Bari Weiss, a white columnist who wrote a book on anti-Semitism, had to resign after being buffaloed by other liberal writers calling her a dissenter; they call her this because Bari Weiss takes issue with cancel culture. Ibram X. Kendi, co-author of " Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You", reportedly remarked that there is no room for racial equality insofar as white people rule America-by which he meant seizing leadership would be the only way to create Black America.

Some black supporters of BLM seem to be fans of Nation of Islam as well; they hate both white people and the Jews. Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar , who are black Muslim Democrats, have despised Israel publicly while voicing support for terrorist groups. In other words, they have form.

Biden should give such agitators a wide berth if he wants to trounce Trump. He should realize that his voting base doesn't include far-left sorts and haters like Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar.

Notwithstanding the alternative facts that Goldberg is flinging about, let me tell you what’s going to happen between black voters and Joe Biden re: the 2020 election.
Joe is going to get 90+ percent of black voters, and they are going to turnout in Obama-like numbers. They are not going to be voting for him because they don’t think for themselves and can’t get off the plantation; they will be voting for him because they see Biden as the most pragmatic choice as far as having policies that address the issues important to them. Joe Biden has shown the ability to course-correct, and there will be several people in his administration who will be making it their business to hold him accountable to a progressive-friendly agenda.

That’s what’s going to happen. The ONLY real obstacle democrats have (and it shouldn’t be underestimated) is the voter suppression, polling place intimidation, and other outright cheating the republicans have done and will continuously do.

I think Trump is trying to divert attention from his failure in the corona crisis. Portland (and maybe soon Chicago, New York and ........) is also providing him with law-and-order campaign ammunition against Joe Biden - similar to the artificial crisis of 2018 around the immigrant "caravans" on the US southern border.

THAT might become more than just an obstacle.

@snood,
Buddy, someone writing for Newsweek also thinks that "92 Percent of Black Americans Support Biden Over Trump." Ex-NFL player, Jack Brewer, who's black, argued that "Trump Will Get Over 20% Of Black Vote," last year when talking to the right-wing The Washington Times. This guy is also a member of Black Voices for Trump advisory board. Another black celeb Abdul-Jabbar has called out anti-Semitism in sports after former NBA player and activist Stephen Jackson, along with NFL player DeSean Jackson, made dreadful remarks against the Jewish people.

I think it's still too early to say Biden is going to get 90+ percent of black voters.

@snood,
Voter suppression is a concern with the GOP less alone Trump. I am half way through Mary Trump new book an lord what a fool we had place in the white house with many tens of thousands of lives so far alone that we had lost due to him.

Those Federal so call agents are a concern also. We are looking more and more like some South American dictatorship.

Once they place the protectors in the Vans how long will it be before they dump them from the helicopters over the ocean?

@snood,
Correct me if I'm wrong. African Americans represent 13 percent of the US population . Huh? And African Americans are 11% of the American electorate overall, according to the Guardian. Huh?

I just think that Biden should pay heed to rising diversity, say the concerns of non-black and non-white voters.

Yes however in some of the former slaves states they are a very large percent of the voters an in our system that matter as we do not have an election by popular vote for president.

Hell if we did that clown would not be in the white house now.

Tucker Carlson’s Fans Give the New York Times Doxing Team a Dose of Their Own Medicine

Quote:
Within hours, an army of conservative Twitter accounts started publicly posting the address and personal information of the reporter Carlson identified as the story’s writer. Many encouraged people to harass the reporter.

He identified the reporter behind the story as Murray Carpenter, airing his photo and calling the freelance writer a “political activist.” Carpenter’s website states that he focuses on science and environmental stories, and has written for the Times, The Post and National Geographic, among other outlets.

Carlson also mentioned photographer Tristan Spinski and the Times’s media editor Jim Windolf by name.

“How would Murray Carpenter and his photographer, Tristan Spinski, feel if we told you where they live, if we put pictures of their homes on the air?” Carlson asked. “What if we published the home address of every one of the soulless, robot editors at the New York Times, who assigned and managed this incitement of violence against my family?”

He added: “We could do that. We know who they are.”

About time.

God. how true that is. It's such a con and yet enough of us fall for it all over again. Don't be surprised if we wake up on election day and Trump won again. Just typing the sentence is depressing.

@snood,
I hope and pray you are right. I don't mean to be awful but the black vote disappointed in 2016. Perhaps Hillary took them for granted. I think she took us all for granted and just coasted in the general election after the tough primary with Bernie Sanders.

And Biden does not? Remember he decides who is Black. You think Black people are eager to meet Joe's standards?

I suppose they are, if they want their children in shitty schools and told they are victims daily.

Michael Cohen claims he was imprisoned to stop book

Michael D. Cohen says it was no secret that he was writing a jailhouse tell-all book
about his former boss, President Trump. He spent hours at a stretch working on his
manuscript in a prison library before he was released on furlough in May because
of the coronavirus.

Then, earlier this month, federal officials abruptly sent Mr. Cohen back to prison
because he balked at signing an agreement that would have let him stay at home
with a key restriction: He would not have been allowed to publish his book
before the November elections.

Now Mr. Cohen has responded with a lawsuit claiming that the government has
violated his First Amendment rights by returning him to custody and interrupting
his writing...
