@oralloy,
Which Congress amended with the War Power's Act. You really need a course in the Constitution. Your self education has incredible gaps.

@McGentrix,
You aren't paying attention. They claim the executive branch runs the country and that he has "absolute power" of the executive branch. Neither claim is true. He has carefully delineated and limited powers as chief executive and Congress has the power to amend these powers as it sees fit and has and even has the power to impeach a President for over stepping them. Hardly any example of "absolute".

That is incorrect. The War Powers Act did not amend the Constitution.

You are the person who is repeatedly wrong here.

Who said that? And what do you mean by "run the country"?

100% of all federal executive power is vested in the President. No federal executive power is vested in anyone else.

Congress does not have the power to amend the powers of the President.

I am coming around to your reading comprehension theory. They just read what they want to read instead of the actual words. I figured a graphic would help alleviate it, but it didn't.

The two statements aren't contradictory and I don't see where there's any evidence of anyone's lack of reading comprehension. What's the issue?

This discussion reminds me of people arguing about the trinitarian godhead. One government, three natures.

Which is not the same as your "absolute power" crap. Repeating back to me what I told you is a cute way of trying to win an argument.

@oralloy,
None of which reflects your "absolute power" crap. I'm glad you realize how wrong you were asserting it.

The President has oversight: Congress and the Supreme Court. And also the voters. His power is not absolute. Right?
