Who Decides Who and What Is Essential and Which Lives Matter?

First, let us acknowledge that this nation is united in the disgust over the murder of George Floyd by four bad law enforcement officers. Then something changed. Radical leftist organizations such as Black Lives Matter stepped in and made a decision about how much Floyd’s life mattered.

George Floyd, regardless of prior criminal record, was a human being who deserved dignity. He was compliant and handcuffed, not offering any resistance. But in the past week, violence ensued; and yes, looting is violence.

A retired police captain named David Dorn was shot to death in St. Louis. David Dorn was a black man, responding to a call for assistance to check the security system at a local small business. He arrived to find looters who shot him, and there is video of Officer Dorn bleeding out.

Are we to believe that George Floyd’s life matters more than that of David Dorn?

It disturbs me deeply when we have groups, organizations, that “cherry-pick” whose lives matter based upon the litmus test of their ideological agenda. I am indeed angered by the murder of George Floyd. I am equally angered by the murder of David Dorn. I am consistently angered by the amount of black-on-black murder that occurs regularly in our urban population centers.

And I am angered by the fact over 20,000,000 pre-born black babies have been murdered in the womb since 1973, many at the hands of an organization founded by a white supremacist and racist, Margaret Sanger. That organization is Planned Parenthood. And I have yet to hear of Black Lives Matter (BLM) protesting an organization founded by a racist with over 70 percent of their clinics in black neighborhoods.

So, which Black lives matter? And when?

They are being oppressed,

and Palestinians are persecuted and humiliated every day by the occupation.

Israel is America's outpost

and its way of projecting imperial power in a region that it has no place being.

The rats are scurrying

Palestine is one of the last surviving (and longest running) colonization attempt on the planet.

Deport people,

and then shoot them when they revolt...

That’s a daily exercise that is something you all have to cover... Saw the tweet. Saw the video. It’s a serious accusation.”

Many GOP senators declined Tuesday to respond to Trump’s tweet suggesting Martin Gugino, the Buffalo protester, “could be an ANTIFA provocateur.’ The president added, without evidence, that Gugino may have been trying to “set up” the police officers who hurt him. The tweet did not come up at the Republicans' weekly lunch, according to an attendee.

Republican senators have a well-worn playbook by now if they don’t want to wade into the latest tweet-fueled controversy by saying they hadn’t seen Trump’s latest comments. Still, even when provided paper copies of the president’s tweet on Tuesday, many declined to view them.

Sens. Cory Gardner (R-Colo.) and John Cornyn (R-Texas) declined to comment on the tweet, saying they hadn’t read it. When asked whether they wanted to see the tweet, both showed little interest. Sen Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) said he had “no information about that man or who he is.”
