President Trump's Approval Ratings Just Hit a New All-Time Low

President Donald Trump’s approval ratings have fallen to their lowest point since the start of his presidency, a new poll finds.

Just 38% of Americans approve of the job Trump is doing as President, while 58% disapprove, according to the latest NBC/WSJ poll.

The previous low-water mark came in May, when the poll found Trump’s approval rating was 39%. Prior to the latest poll, Trump’s approval rating stood at 43%.

Trump’s approval ratings are also historically low compared to those of his predecessors, according to NBC News. President Barack Obama had a 51% approval rating during his first fall in the White House, while President George W. Bush was at 88% in the weeks following the 9/11 attacks.

When breaking down Trump’s approval ratings by topic, he received the highest marks for his handling of the hurricanes in Texas and Louisiana, the economy, and “his role as Commander in Chief.” But he received a 33% approval rating for his handling of the shooting in Las Vegas earlier this month.

NBC News notes that the voters who reported the biggest drop in their approval of Trump include independents, white Americans, and white Americans without a college degree. The lattermost group constitutes a key part of Trump’s voter base.

The poll was conducted October 23 through 26, in the midst of Trump’s public dispute with the family of Sgt. La David Johnson, one of four soldiers recently killed in Niger. The margin of error is 3.3 percentage points.

Donald Trump may like to brag about his poll numbers with Rasmussen, which has always issued shady and GOP-friendly results that align with no other poll results, but more accurate polls show that Trump’s support even among his base is slipping ahead of the 2020 elections.

Overall, Trump’s ratings are still well underwater at -13 percent. He remains the only president to have never reached a 50 percent approval rating in any major poll, and his recent numbers are coming in at lower even than his average. While his poll numbers with women are decidedly lower than with men, college education plays a hefty role in perceptions of Trump’s job performance, as well.

It looks like the same numbers as 2016 so far. The thing to really look for is the battleground states. I read contradicting data on it so far but barely paying attention given CV-19.

In all natural and unnatural national disasters the American public always rallies around the sitting president, no matter what party he's from.

Trump's approval ratings shot up past 50% as the coronavirus began to spread throughout the country, which is a normal reaction history tells us.

Unfortunately for Donald, all his past crazy conspiracy theory laden reelection rallies and golf outings during the month of February are coming back to bite him.

In a new Gallup poll, the news is damning for the narcissist in charge.

A new Gallup poll finds President Donald Trump's approval stands at 43%. His disapproval rating is at 54%.

Trump's approval rating is down significantly from 49% in March, while his disapproval rating is up 9 points from 45%.

Even in Trump's favorite poll, Rasmussen has found Trump getting buried for his horrendous response to COVID-19.

Many Americans are now seeing right through these moronic 2020 presidential reelection press briefing/rallies.

Instead of letting the virus task force lead the way and inform the American people, Trump can't stay away from the microphone and turns these briefings that are supposed to help the American people keep informed on the state of the nation into his personal whine-fest.

The amount of lies, mistruths and backstabbing attacks on former politicians and media outlets has not been helpful to him or anyone else.

And now it's coming back to bite him.
