He knows a lot. And profiting from what you know is a time-honored capitalist tradition. This freedom fighter knows the score:
Quote:
Roger Stone suggested Monday that Bill Gates may have had a hand in the creation of coronavirus so that he could plant microchips in people’s heads to know who has and has not been tested for COVID-19.

“Whether Bill Gates played some role in the creation and spread of this virus is open for vigorous debate. I have conservative friends who say it’s ridiculous and others say absolutely,” Stone told Joe Piscopo, host of the radio program “The Answer” on 970 AM, who had asked about conspiracy theories regarding the pandemic.

“He and other globalists are using it for mandatory vaccinations and microchipping people so we know if they’ve been tested. Over my dead body. Mandatory vaccinations? No way, Jose!”

@hightor,
Quote:
“Praying is a big part of my daily ritual. You just put things in His hands and it takes a lot of pressure off you and you can see the path forward very clearly,” [Roger Stone] continued.

This would fit in Twain's Letters From Earth quite perfectly.

PS... I should have added to my reply that these microchips are not a big thing. I can't even feel mine unless I'm sitting for a long while or if I'm into certain bedroom activities. And there's a big advantage in time saved when you no longer have to write extensive reports to your Deep State control leader.

Vice President Pence’s office has threatened to retaliate against a reporter who revealed that Pence’s office had told journalists they would need masks for Pence’s visit to the Mayo Clinic — a requirement Pence himself did not follow.

Pence’s trip to the clinic Tuesday generated criticism after he was photographed without a surgical mask — the only person in the room not wearing one. The Minnesota clinic requires visitors to wear masks as a precaution against spreading the coronavirus.

Pence’s wife, Karen Pence, said in an interview with Fox News on Thursday that he was unaware of the mask policy until his visit was over.

But Steve Herman, who covers the White House for Voice of America, suggested that there was more to the story after Karen Pence’s interview.

“All of us who traveled with [Pence] were notified by the office of @VP the day before the trip that wearing of masks was required by the @MayoClinic and to prepare accordingly,” tweeted Herman, who covered the trip as part of his rotation as one of the pool reporters, who share information with other reporters in limited-space situations...

Not that I think Bill Gates is a compelling person, because I don't, he's certainly used millions of his dollars for the betterment of the planet including malaria initiatives, children's health issues, etc. He's creatied millions of jobs all over the planet and made enough people rich building products even you use who are also creating new jobs and charities benefiting millions of more people. He also donated a lot of money to RW politicians (boooo!).

Now tell me again, who the **** is Bill Mitchel besides a mean spirited lying sack of ****?

An unhinged Illinois woman who made threatening statements about Joe Biden on Facebook was arrested in Manhattan with a car full of knives Wednesday afternoon, cops said.

Jessica Prim, 37, live-streamed her arrest on Facebook, keeping her phone camera rolling as she told police near the USS Intrepid that she needed help and declared: “I think I’m the coronavirus."

Police took Prim into custody about 1:30 p.m., after she drove her silver Toyota Tundra down a service road on Pier 86, near the Intrepid, and began acting erratically.

A security guard called the NYPD, and as cops spoke to her, they learned the Secret Service was looking for her because of comments she made on Facebook, law enforcement sources said.

“I’m so scared... I’m at the Comfort, you guys," she wept, mistaking the Intrepid for the USNS Comfort, the Facebook video showed. “I think I’m Babylon.”

At one point, she told an officer, “I was watching the press conferences with Donald Trump on TV... I felt like he was talking to me," cops said, adding she then referred to a conspiracy theory about Hillary Clinton.

A Secret Service agent can be heard arriving at the scene a few minutes into the video.

Prim was taken to Mount Sinai West for treatment, and she was charged with marijuana possession and 18 counts of criminal possession of a weapon, for knives that were in her car, police said.

On Wednesday morning, Prim had posted on Facebook: “Hillary Clinton and her assistant, Joe Biden and Tony Podesta need to be taken out in the name of Babylon! I can’t be set free without them gone. Wake me up!!!!!”

Prim, who identified herself as a feature entertainer who performs under the name Nikita Steele , posted several stream of consciousness videos and links to conspiracy theories to her Facebook page over the past two days.

Trump might be willing to help states and cities, but he believes he's entitled to "get something" in exchange for doing the right thing.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) told reporters yesterday she expects an upcoming economic aid package to include $1 trillion for state and local governments. While that's obviously a massive federal investment, it's hardly outlandish: we're already seeing "dramatic reductions" to public-sector workforces, pushing unemployment higher, weakening the economy, and reducing services countless families rely on.

A reporter asked Donald Trump yesterday for his assessment of Pelosi's vision. The president responded by complaining for a while about "Democrat states" and his belief that Republican officials may have a superior "mentality." Eventually, however, he sent a not-so-subtle signal.

Quote:
"We're going to take a look at it. I think we want to take a little bit of a pause. But if we do that, we'll have to get something for it," Trump said.

Imagine up the road a few months and some lab somewhere produces an effective vaccine for covid which the Trump administration then actively takes control of all distribution in the US and offers it up to citizens so long as Trump gets something from them in return.

@blatham,
Trump misunderstands how US democracy works. He doesn't think he was elected President, he thinks was given the franchise and the keys to the vault.

Yes. It's oddly inconsistent that he's spoken so negatively about "shithole countries" when that's his actual model of things done right.

Pence staff threatens action against reporter who tweeted about visit to clinic without surgical mask

“All of us who traveled with [Pence] were notified by the office of @VP the day before the trip that wearing of masks was required by the @MayoClinic and to prepare accordingly,” tweeted Herman, who covered the trip as part of his rotation as one of the pool reporters, who share information with other reporters in limited-space situations.

The tweet apparently enraged Pence’s staff, which told Herman that he had violated the off-the-record terms of a planning memo that had been sent to him and other reporters in advance of Pence’s trip.

Herman said he was notified by the White House Correspondents’ Association that Pence’s office had banned him from further travel on Air Force Two, although a spokesperson in Pence’s office later told VOA managers than any punishment was still under discussion, pending an apology from Herman or VOA.

VOA is continuing to talk with Pence’s staff, said Yolanda Lopez, the director of VOA’s news center. She said it wasn’t clear how the vice president intended to proceed.

@blatham,
I think perhaps you may be reading it wrong. Surely Trump wasn't saying Democrat states will only get assistance if they give him in return.

I think he was talking about Pelosi's upcoming economic aid package. If they approve of it, they (republicans) want something in return. No telling what that would be, but bound to be something for big businesses and the 1%.
