Talking to yourself again? Since when do rules mean anything to you?

If you think you're being trolled, teach everyone a lesson and ignore them.

@bobsal u1553115,
Indeed. Trump is a sociopath and Brooks is one of a large number of high profile conservatives/Republicans who have had the brains and integrity to say it publicly. But many, many more have yet to take that public step even while acknowledging privately that they understand this.

Nothing to do in the hospital? Maybe it is not as bad as the MSM makes it out to be. Thanks again.

Average deaths per year from the flu (past 9 years) in the US: 37,461

Deaths from coronavirus in just the last ~6 weeks after incredible lockdowns/isolation across the country: 40,000+

There are not strong enough words for the idiots who keep screaming this is "just the flu."

Maybe 10,000 anti's out there and 340,000,000 people stayed home.

Why is the press taken up with the not even a handful of buttheads and not the 340,000,000 of the rest of us. I bet none one of the resident RW buttheads here were out with their nutsy brothers and sisters risking the Trumpvirus.

That is simply an inaccurate number. When the real numbers come out please post them.

Far less it appears to me. If it is 2000 at this point I'd be surprised. And as you say, multi-millions not joining them.

It's a good question.

First, the coverage is mainly by/on TV. Print media much less so. TV grabs it up because it is visual and confrontational - which they cannot resist because it is perfect for their medium and because it helps fill up the 24/7 content requirement.

But given that, it is still mainly Fox covering the protests because they are the key part of the right wing propaganda eco-system. The manipulators/organizers behind the protests design the activities precisely to be useful to Fox, etc, and Fox understands it's role and plays along as full partner.

Edit: Note too, as Will Bunch says above, what they're trying to accomplish here is provoking anger and distrust and thus mobilization of the right wing base. It worked with the Tea Party astroturf operation and they're just duplicating that past strategy.

@coldjoint,
People are given reccomendations and then in some places it becomes requirements dor concern for others. Unless the intended use of the beaches(dor doggie walking and exercise) is monitored, theFloridians who feel this is all a hoax will be close talking and partying)

In Maryland, A GOP governor whose had is afixxed correctly, stated that "we aint opening the state unless these social habits are attended to with care for others, Distances will be monitored as will the order to wear (typ name) masks so we arent affecting others"

Maryland has made it a misdeameanor with a hefty fine.

I was at a market this AM and the cashiers were behind lxan shields and everyboy in the store had red-white-and blue masks . I mean everybody.

I talked with a guy on laving th stor and he stated. "Im not sure that a mask helps me but it does protect others from me so, as long a everybody uses these things, e should keep the curve going down." That was in Rising Sun, home of Maryland's KLAN and one of the most unrealistically wacky Conservative anti govt areas of the state.

Maryland , like Delaware have retained this civil war mentality. (They were slave states but stuck with the Union cause they knew that slavery was a dying institution . Once they get convinced that somthing is actually a sensible approach, they mbrace it. They are a real xample of Eban and latr, Churchills paraphrase below
