She's right. And may I remind you Trump is not president because we voted for him. We didn't.

@Builder,
Love her or hate her there's no taking away from the fact that her and her husband put a lot of time and effort into the peace process in Nth Ireland.

I can't imagine Tango 1 having the wherewithal to do likewise. Can you????

You can call her the devil incarnate all you like but remember sometimes it's better to stick with the devil you know.

Slavery and segregation destroyed black family structure,

That is total bullshit. Most families were kept together. Education was also available to many. Face it, some white people just are not that bad. Blacks emerged from slavery with strong family values.

The people made the right choice, and so did the electoral college.

If that pisses you off, why are you attacking your president, but ignoring the system that is in place, in your republic's electoral criteria?

@coldjoint,
so if your over 60 and dont want to die, youre intimating that thats dishonorable. Youre still a bit balmy pinky.

tudies have quantified how much testing we need before considering a soft "opening" and so far its about 3X what we now have in the box. Whre are all the "tests" that Plump has promised??? We need antibody /antigen testing to se whose recovered so we have a roadmap of a way we can go and avoid a reinfection like in Novembr 1918.

You'd all be in depths of another never-ending war in the middle east. Iran isn't a tinpot nation a few well-aimed nukes could finish. Israel knows this. Why don't you?

That's an easy one. He is because everyone else is who think they are cool while backing policies that will destroy this country. Monkey see, monkey do.

I told you I was maintaining my distance from people. If that is not caring what is? Also I am showing strangers respect by doing so. Give it a try.

Covid scam?
Quote:
Oh sweet Jesus, now the scam is laid bare for everyone.

42 people without one of the defined underlying conditions died.

5,891 with one or more did. (Review of the rest hasn't been completed yet.)

That's 0.71% of those with confirmed cases, which means you're symptomatic enough to get tested.

Now add at least half that for the asymptomatics and maybe more -- in fact the evidence is that we're already at or near herd immunity levels based on multiple seropositive surveys -- not just the one run by Stanford but in many other locations as well! In addition we know only 12%, approximately, of those symptomatic enough to get tested require hospitalization in the first place.

YOU ARE HIDING UNDER YOUR DESK, IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE OF THOSE CONDITIONS, OVER A RISK OF DYING OF 0.36% -- AND THAT'S LIKELY GROSSLY OVERSTATING THE RISK, MAYBE BY AS MUCH AS A FACTOR OF TEN OR MORE!

If the Stanford study holds then that's overstating the risk by fifty times or more which means you're more-likely to die from any other cause than Covid-19 at any age provided you are not on that "it may get you" list of conditions.

I remind you that this rate has been holding since the start; it's nothing new. I've reported on it several times. People have said "oh it will get worse." Well, it hasn't and now New Yawk's screaming Karens have been proved wrong. including chief nozzle-face Cuomo.

For reference this is pretty comparable to your all-cause mortality rate at any age beyond 24 without taking the Stanford (and two other smaller state studies I wrote on today) into account and yet the risk of dying of this bug has been used to scare the bejeezus out of the entire population.

What are the odds that all three of those studies, in three diverse population groups in three different places in the United States are all wrong? Nearly zero, and yet if they're correct then the risk isn't 0.36% -- it's 1/50th of that or less which means the actual risk for a healthy person is roughly 0.0072%!

In other words for something that is roughly as likely, or less-so, than the ordinary risk you take going to get the mail from your mailbox you were and are willing to comply with some douche-bag governor, mayor or President's "orders" and destroy the American economy. Their ability to claim "mistake" has irrevocably evaporated with these facts.

The American people are flat-out bat****-crazy if they don't unlock every business door, resume work, open the restaurants and bars and resume ordinary life right here, right now, telling every governor to go screw a goat. If the government doesn't like it then let them try to stop you; there are 330 million of "us"; how many governors, mayors and their paid sycophants who would like to face the music in the form of gross numerical inferiority are there on the other side of this question?

These aren't my numbers -- they are the official figures from the State of New York and CDC, respectively.

READ IT AND WEEP FOOLS; YOU DID ALL OF THIS BULL**** FOR EXACTLY NOTHING INSTEAD OF PUTTING FORWARD EFFORT TO PROTECT THOSE AT PARTICULARLY HIGH RISK.

@blatham,
Did you look at the other charts? #45 's brief small bounce fell back. Other presidents have done much better with crisis poll numbers. some spectacularly so.
