'I won’t be reading ET again!': Trump attacks Christian magazine for backing impeachment then misspells it's name during wild early morning rant.

Donald Trump has launched an angry broadside against a Christian magazine which endorsed his impeachment, while apparently misspelling its initials and proclaiming: "I won’t be reading ET [CT] again!".

ET? Extra Terrestrial?

@farmerman,
There's been a Dingell representing the 12th Congressional district in Michigan since the late 1930s. It started with The late John Dingell's father, who was a close friend and former schoolmate of my father ( also a Congressman from an adjacent district). I got to know John during my early high school years, and soon after, when his father died he took the office. Later in business I had several occasions to meet with Rep. Dingell on various business and lobbying matters and recognized him then as a polished and accomplished professional Politician, well-versed in the business of using his influence for both things he favored and the cultivation of a network of political & financial supporters. He had become a thoroughly seasoned Pol, not corrupt per se but not particularly blessed with rugged integrity. John's wife Debbie took the office when her husband died about five years ago, thus perpetuating the family reign.

How Trump Lost an Evangelical Stalwart
The editor in chief of Christianity Today explains his scathing editorial about the president’s behavior—and the damage he argues his fellow Christians are doing to the Gospel.

EMMA GREEN
DECEMBER 19, 2019
Evangelicals just received an ultimatum: Abandon President Donald Trump, or betray your brothers and sisters in Christ.

Christianity Today—the magazine founded by the famous preacher Billy Graham, and the longtime forum for mainstream evangelical thought—has published an editorial calling for Trump to be removed from the White House. The editor in chief, Mark Galli, acknowledged that “the typical CT approach is to stay above the fray and allow Christians with different political convictions to make their arguments in the public square.” But the facts are “unambiguous,” Galli wrote. “The president of the United States attempted to use his political power to coerce a foreign leader to harass and discredit one of the president’s political opponents. That is not only a violation of the Constitution; more importantly, it is profoundly immoral.”
It isn’t the first time in church history that the church has been divided. It’s been divided over very important things. So I am a great believer in the providence of God, and that he will, in his grace, mercy, and mysterious judgment, help us through this period. It’s not my responsibility to heal the breach among evangelicals. It’s not my responsibility to bring peace to the world. My responsibility, given the position I have, whatever it might be, is to speak the truth. If it makes a difference, I am thankful to God. And if it doesn’t make a difference, that’s kind of up to him.

He was unnecessarily personally rude to Warren. It was like a playground cut and he snickered, looking around for laughter and the auditorium was completely silent.

He definitely list his smooth last night.

"I won't be reading [christian magazine] again. For fifty years I have eagerly awaited my subscription to arrive every month. When it came, work would stop and I'd be lost in the wonderful God literaturing for days..."

PS... The really funny part of this clown's performance here is that mistake he made on the publication's name. Undoubtedly, the reason he made the CT/ET mistake is that his mind went right to the celebrity TV channel, Entertainment Tonight. Imagine how many hours he's invested in:
1 - Christianity Today Magazine
2 - celebrity television

What will they do if a sodomite wins the Democratic nomination? Could make Trump look pretty good again. Also remember Christians are supposed to forgive sinners but could draw the line on homosexuality.

I do not know how many the Atlanitc reaches online but their subscribers are under 500,000.

Who was the first? Do you really think evangelicals will vote for one? Think again. In fact, all the terrible things Democrats have said about them I do not know why they would vote for any Democrat.

It is more than a little interesting to note the continuing relatively fast growth of the U.S. GDP compared to that of our European and Asian economic competitors - all in a generally slowing worldwide economy. In addition to that, the continuing very fast rise of the U.S. stock market - usually a reliable indicator of public expectations for our economy - strongly suggests that U.S. public confidence has not been seriously shaken by the recent Democrat impeachment fiasco.

Now, despite the three years of frenzied political discourse and so far non-productive, but decidedly hostile investigations, and, for the last two, with a House of Representatives focused only on finding a way to get rid of Trump, and not on its legislative responsibilities, we find it all appears not to have materially shaken public confidence in our continued economic success and the rising employment and income that goes with it.

It's hard to be sure just what that means or portends, however, it does strongly suggest the underlying satisfaction of the public with, at least our current economic situation - usually a very strong indicator of future voter behavior. I'm confident that the ongoing Democrat impeachment effort will fail to achieve its apparently intended purpose, and that Trump will win the 2020 election. Increasingly I suspect we may also see a very broad setback for Democrats in both houses of Congress.

TDS may well be a very damaging to those subject to it.

WASHINGTON — The day after the House cast historic votes to impeach President Trump, Speaker Nancy Pelosi put an abrupt halt on the proceedings, holding back from sending the charges to the Republican-led Senate in a politically risky bid to exert influence over the contours of an election-year trial.

With some leading Democrats pushing to delay transmittal of the articles and others advocating that they be withheld altogether, the limbo is likely to persist until the new year. The House left town on Thursday for a two-week holiday recess without taking the votes to appoint impeachment managers, which is required to start the process in the Senate.

“We are ready,” said Ms. Pelosi, who has said she would not send the charges or name the lawmakers who would prosecute the case against Mr. Trump until she was certain of a fair process for a Senate trial. “When we see what they have, we will know who and how many we will send over.”
..................
And he is still preparing for a trial, making clear to advisers that Pat A. Cipollone, his White House counsel, will lead any defense for the White House, with an open question as to who assists from the outside.

Privately, people close to Mr. Trump said his lawyers were reviewing all options. But they pointed to a Bloomberg Opinion article by Noah Feldman, a Harvard University law professor who testified during the impeachment inquiry at the behest of Democrats, that asserted that for a president to be impeached, the House “must actually send the articles and send managers to the Senate to prosecute the impeachment.”

“And the Senate must actually hold a trial,” he wrote.

Ms. Pelosi, one Trump adviser said, cannot “have it both ways.”

I say, hurray Nancy go for it; and since Moscow Mitch has shown he is going to have a kangaroo court court regardless - don't sent the charges over. theRump and lawyer are wrong; no matter what else happens, the pResident is IMPEACHED! That is an act of the House and the charges are true.

What Nancy needs to do is keep adding new charges on a very fast track as new crimes occur. See how many new ones can get wrapped into the charges by November!

Fitting end to this crud-basket case! Or, should I put it "Sodomite pResident"? Yes, "Sodomite pResident"!

The FBI had operational informants inside the Trump campaign and among Trump associates, according to the Justice Department’s inspector general report.

The finding appears to be the first official confirmation that there were FBI-paid spies, called confidential human sources (CHS), close to President Trump.

Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report tends to downplay his finding. But he does say that one informant reported information directly to Crossfire Hurricane, the code name for the FBI probe into Trump-Russia connections led by agent Peter Strzok.

Interesting. Let's get this phony impeachment guff out of the way, and get on with the real story, shall we?

What's really interesting, is that the whole crew here were major-league disgusted at the possibility that Russia might have influenced the outcome of the election, and now that it's been proven to be bullshit, they're totally silent on the reality that the FBI-CIA and DOJ were complicit in trying to do the same thing.

Hypocrisy much?

As we say in our culture; paybacks are a bitch.

Elizabeth Warren
22 March 2016 ·

Let’s be honest – Donald Trump is a loser. Count all his failed businesses. See how he kept his father’s empire afloat by cheating people with scams like Trump University and by using strategic corporate bankruptcy (excuse me, bankruptcies) to skip out on debt. Listen to the experts who’ve concluded he’s so bad at business that he might have more money today if he’d put his entire inheritance into an index fund and just left it alone.

Trump seems to know he’s a loser. His embarrassing insecurities are on parade: petty bullying, attacks on women, cheap racism, and flagrant narcissism. But just because Trump is a loser everywhere else doesn’t mean he’ll lose this election. People have been underestimating his campaign for nearly a year – and it’s time to wake up.

People talk about how "this is the most important election" in our lifetime every four years, and it gets stale. But consider what hangs in the balance. Affordable college. Accountability for Wall Street. Healthcare for millions of Americans. The Supreme Court. Big corporations and billionaires paying their fair share of taxes. Expanded Social Security. Investments in infrastructure and medical research and jobs right here in America. The chance to turn our back on the ugliness of hatred, sexism, racism and xenophobia. The chance to be a better people.

More than anyone we’ve seen before come within reach of the presidency, Donald Trump stands ready to tear apart an America that was built on values like decency, community, and concern for our neighbors. Many of history’s worst authoritarians started out as losers – and Trump is a serious threat. The way I see it, it’s our job to make sure he ends this campaign every bit the loser that he started it.
