You are confusing 2008 with 2010, when the GOP took the House back. Obama was 1 vote short of a super majority until the 2010 elections. Don't play games, he had all the votes he needed for the first 2 years in office. The GOP took the house back in 2010 when the DNC got whipped.

He did and he spent most of that time successfully restoring the economy the gop fucked up and left to him in self destructo mode and working out the affordable care act which he begged repubs to help with and booehner threlatened any gop who did help him with political suicide if they helped him. So the venal gop didnt. Trumps health plan to replace it got a resounding 18 , tha5s eighteen percent support.

Focus. 48 of the 50 states mandate their electors must vo5e for the winner of the popullar vote in their state. The ec is directly tied to the popular vote but the framers set up the ec in an anti democratic way to manipulate that tie.

You have no idea what you are talking about and you continue to prove it by insisting there is a popular vote for the President. It takes 270 votes to be President, and Hillary didn't get them. She failed to campaign in the states she needed to win, so now the left throws a temper tantrum because their candidate was the worst and lost the election on her own. She should have spent some more time in those swing states and less time in CA.

Here is the basic problem. The majority of the country did not vote for trump or support his agenda. We still do not. Thats why hes polled underwater continuously. Thats why he lost the house in 18, not muellr. The ec can foist him on us but it cant make us like him or support him or his corrupt cronies or his horrendous actions and we dont. Thaats the bottom line

While there are Atheists and agnostics and secular folks of Democratic allegiance, this in no way means they all that think nothing is greater than a human.

There are likely plenty of closeted Republicans who are atheists in both Houses.

In politics not having a belief in god/God/Abba/Gorup/Jehovah, etc. is viewed as worse than murder by many voters. Therefore it's rare for a politician to openly admit their non-diest adherence. A Satanist would probably receive more votes!

The Republicans tried working with Obama and even reached a deal with him at one point. Then Obama gave in to leftist extremism and undermined his own deal.
