You mean, them "leftist UN" idea of fun is NOT to slaughter American children or to make excuses for those doing so? The nerve!
What these darn sentimental leftists from abroad should know by now, is that American children exist for one reason only: to be regularly sacrificed to the gods of money, Moloch-style.

Don't be silly. These people are not trying to save lives. Their one and only goal is simply to violate people's civil liberties.

No armies are threatening and no militia could stand, even briefly, against modern armies' arsenals (including nukes).

You are overlooking the fact that the militia is supposed to have a modern arsenal themselves.

Thus my post pointing to the absurdity of any claim that there is a need for the weaponry you can buy off the shelf including automatic assault weapons to protect yourself in a manner that made sense in 1790.

Need, need, need. The eternal refrain of the serf.

"I can't have it because my lord says I don't need it."

Americans are free people. Need doesn't matter. We have the right to have weapons if we choose to have weapons.

Free speech or Islam?
Quote:
My friends, it could be time for me to be saying goodbye. Leftist and Islamic groups have been trying for years to silence all criticism of jihad terror and Sharia oppression of women and others, and in the New Zealand massacre they see the best chance in a long time to move in for the kill. I (along with other foes of jihad terror) could be banned from everything and rendered a non-person, a la Alex Jones, any day now.

This is no exaggeration. Meeting in Istanbul, the International Union for Muslim Scholars (IUMS) has called on non-Muslim countries to ban “Islamophobia,” which means criticism of Islam, including analysis of the motivating ideology fueling jihad terror. IUMS President Ahmed al-Raisouni said Friday: “IUMS calls on non-Muslim countries to ban the spread of hatred against Islam and Muslims.”

Since analysis of the motivating ideology behind jihad terror is routinely smeared as “hatred of Islam and Muslims,” this will likely outlaw all such analysis and make opposition to jihad terror effectively impossible.

If the MSM had any conscience they would fight for this. They would call it legitimate criticism and let Islam answer. But they have decided that Western civilization has to go because free men can not be controlled, the end game for both Islam and the Left.

@blatham,
In an article for the Daily Telegraph, Trump Jr said May should have listened to his father’s advice over Brexit, saying that a “process that should have taken only a few short months has become a years-long stalemate, leaving the British people in limbo”. According to the prime minister, Trump advised her to “sue the EU – not go into negotiations”. (The Guardian: Donald Trump Jr: May should have taken my father's Brexit advice

Quoting from the Daily Telegraph article Theresa May should have taken my father's advice on Brexit

With the deadline fast approaching, it appears that democracy in the UK is all but dead.

Why is this important for us Americans? Because Brexit is an example of how the establishment elites try to subvert the will of the people when they’re given the chance.

Here in the United States, we’ve seen similar efforts to overturn legitimate election results. When my father beat the Washington establishment in a historic outcome in 2016, just a few months after the Brexit vote, we mistakenly presumed there would be a peaceful and respectful transition of power from the Democrats to the Republicans, just as there has always been in this country.

Instead, the Democrats and deep-state operatives in our justice system have been colluding to subvert the will of the American people, with high-level officials even discussing a scheme to try to remove him from office using the 25th Amendment of our constitution.

In a way, you could say that Brexit and my father’s election are one and the same – the people of both the UK and the US voted to uproot the establishment for the sake of individual freedom and independence, only to see the establishment try to silence their voices and overturn their mandates.

What we’re seeing now in Washington, London and Brussels is the desperate, last-gasp attempt by those previously in power to cling on to what was once theirs in the face of an overwhelming mandate for change.

Those who support my father’s “America First” agenda should rest assured: the battle for independence isn’t over; it has only just begun. The elites will not surrender their power lightly, and we shouldn’t expect them to. But we need to keep fighting to reclaim it for the people.

With Brexit in the balance, and the 2020 presidential elections just around the corner, the people of both the UK and the US must reaffirm the decisions they made in 2016 to stand up for themselves against the global elite.

Calling for or justifying a massacre of innocent people is one thing. But that "failing to address far-right extremism on their platforms" is quite another. For years now, Leftists and Islamic supremacists have insisted that opposing jihad mass murder and Sharia oppression of women and others constitutes "far-right extremism." So it is likely that those who will be shut down will not be limited solely to people such as this “24-year-old from Oldham” who was “making reference and support for the terrible events.” It will include foes of jihad terror.

He is correct. This amounts to submission and empowers Islam.

Because him name will come up when policies he acted for against are still far from over. His involvement in what is basically a conspiracy to make sure Trump was never president. That goes against everything America stands for.

He was an elite and well connected enough to influence many decisions. Too bad he did not care about the Constitution or respect the system it established.

@blatham,
Not only that, he's ******* stupid. There's no grounds to sue the EU, and if there were a court case would have to take place in the European court, something May is trying to end the jurisdiction of.

It was a stupid suggestion back then and it's even more stupid now.

Yes, Donald met with Bolsonaro today, it doesn't bode well. If he was a teenager, I'd say he was hanging around with the wrong kids. It's as if he goes out of his way to be repellant.
