If federal government has no say in the gun laws the states pass, they have no say. Personally I doubt it will pass because of the very complications it will cause.

Gun regulations have already been ruled constitutional; Scalia answered that question already. So as long as states do not ban guns period, they can regulate gun sales without worrying about any federal laws to the contrary if that lawsuit passes.

Jan. 5 (EIRNS)--In an article published today by the {Journal of the Strategic Culture Foundation}, under the headline "The Not So Special U.S.-U.K. Relationship," Matthew Jamison, Senior
Parliamentary Researcher at Britain's House of Commons, concludes that the Special Relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom is, for all practical purposes, dead. This, he says, is due to British intelligence's "unprecedented" interference (including the Institute for Statecraft and its Integrity Initiative) into the U.S. 2016 Presidential campaign, attempting to smear candidate Donald Trump for colluding with Russia.

Jamison charges that the Christopher Steele dossier, "which has been of such great help to the Robert Mueller Special Counsel Investigation, was also a largely British Government operation, but seems to have actually emanated from the Institute for Statecraft (IfS) mission." He details the IfS strategy of building "`cluster' or contact groups" in foreign countries, who "get alerts via social media to take anti-Russian action when the British State perceives a need." He also warns that there are those "at the very highest levels of the British State who would like nothing more than to start an all-out war against Russia, which would be the gravest strategic and human mistake, probably made since the last monster thought he could achieve such a diabolical scheme circa 1941."

As for the Special Relationship, Jamison warns that, by so "heavily involving British intelligence services to interfere in the U.S. 2016 Presidential campaign," working against Trump and for Clinton, "the British State may just have crossed a red line too far in the mind of President Donald Trump."

The NATO and Foreign Office-funded Institute for Statecraft and its Integrity Initiative, are simply "a front for the British Government's intelligence services..." Jamison charges, "whose sole purpose is to continue in that most ridiculous and backwards `Cold War' mentality of smearing all things Russian and smearing anyone who takes a positive interest and positive perspective on Russia and the great Russian people." Moreover, the level of anti-Russia hysteria in the U.K. in recent years, he states, "has been an appalling and irrational spectacle to behold."

Offering examples to show how low the U.S.-U.K. relationship has sunk, Jamison concludes that Trump has "little time for Britain's defense establishment and its pathetic and ridiculous Henry Jackson Society so-called Defense Secretary Gavin Williamson. President Trump cannot stand pip squeaks like Gavin Williamson, and that is why Trump kept the entire British Government in the dark about his troop pullouts in Syria and Afghanistan."

Yoou're really living in a fantasy and repeateaing it monomaniacally. Nobody but nobody is suggesting guns be regulated for the fun of it.

They are suggesting bans for the VERY GOOD reason that thosands of people lose their lives to gun violence every year.

That is a very good reason to regulate them.

Anybody who doesn't think so is at the least immoral and quite probably sick as well.
