@blatham,
How can they (so called evangelicals) just casually dismiss Christine Blasey Ford account of the incident as though it is given she made it up? I mean, the account she has given so far seems credible to me; detailing the bathing suit under her clothes. I know the answer, politics is everything. But still, aren't we human beings under our political views?

@revelette1,
Their answer would be, "For the greater good of America and for the glory of our Savior". Thus their facile ease in excusing Trump's "grab them by the pussy", his humping porn actresses while married and countless other profanities. For authoritarian types, the means are always justified by the desired ends.

Easy IQ test:
C claims “B tried to rape me and I want the FBI to investigate my story.” B replies “I never tried to rape C but I don’t want the FBI to investigate.”

Who’s more likely to be telling the truth?
1. B?
2. C?
3. I don’t know; it’s just a case of “C said, B said.”

Do you have a quote from "B" saying that? I bet you or that sycophant on Twitter does not.

Again, and it has been pointed out enough times, Bernie, you ought not to point fingers as you are inherently dishonest yourself.

How about Clinton never being charged with rape and Ellison's accuser slandered by her own party because Ellison has to win and that is all that matters?

Do you think people do hear or read other news? I have already informed you that you are just not very bright, and it is showing.

@coldjoint,
You are operating under the grand delusion that the USA is a rule of law country, coldjoint.

These delusions come from the extensive brainwashing that y'all receive starting in the womb.

Killing Free Speech

Quote:
This OIC media strategy claims as one of its goals:

"To increase the interaction with media outlets and professionals, while encouraging accurate and factual/portrayal of Islam. Emphasis should be directed at avoidance of any link or association of Islam with terrorism or the use of Islamophobic rhetoric in the war on terror, such as labeling criminal terrorists as 'Islamic' fascists, 'Islamic' extremists."[10]

That is a lie. Islam is the inspiration for terror, and has everything to do with it.
Quote:
The OICs highly ambitious plans to do away with freedom of speech go severely underreported in the West. Mainstream Western journalists do not appear to find it dangerous that their freedom of speech should be supervised by the OIC, while Western governments, far from offering any resistance, appear, perhaps for votes, to be cozily going along with everything.

Look at the UK, Sweden, Germany are already arresting people for telling the truth about Islam. The OIC owns the UN's biggest voting block, a good reason to get out of the UN, free countries should leave.

“What we accomplish is letting the American people know that I framed this as part of a concerted effort on the part of the Federalist Society and the Heritage Foundation to pack our courts. And they’ve been doing this for decades now, preparing the way, and they now have a willing president who is going to pick names off their list,” Hirono said. “So the American public needs to know that court-packing is going on. … And I hope to enable everybody to connect the dots. That they better be voting at the state legislative level and the governorships for people who are going to provide the kind of protections that maybe they will no longer be able to expect from the Supreme Court.”

They do know. That is one of the reasons Trump was elected. It is the way it has always worked and if situations were reversed we would hear the same from Republicans. The piece of **** Obama said it himself, "elections have consequences".

Now you and Beth are warm, cuddling bedfellows. Not to mention stunning hypocrites, lamely trying to defend a nazi like USA.

That's OK. He probably has an outfit put aside for Canada's decline. He better have a few, he will need them.

@neptuneblue,
[quoteThe F.B.I. investigated EXACTLY this sort of thing when Anita Hill alleged she was sexually harassed by Clarence Thomas. George H.W. Bush requested that the F.B.I. look into her claims, and they did][/quote]

Except the allegations against justice Thomas were made while he was a federal judge, on federal property.
That makes it a federal case and the FBI had to investigate.

The allegations against justice Kavanaugh concern a matter that is not even remotely considered a federal matter.

@coldjoint,
Trump was NOT elected. We rejected him and his agenda. He is in office onlybecause of the anti-democratic way the electoral college is set up, not because of the will of the people. The GOP spent eight years stonewalling Obama's picks for judges. They pulled unprecedented **** stonewalling any vote on merrick Garland's nomination for SCOTUS. Those are some of the reasons there is the impending blue wave this November, the GOP's scummy version of justice.

You know nothing about Islam. You are dismissing facts that prove what I have said. You are clearly not capable of making a cogent argument about the subject.

@blatham,
https://www.newyorker.com/culture/cultural-comment/what-metoo-hasnt-changed-for-christine-blasey-ford

Quote:
The ordeal thus far reflects the strained logic of defending a man accused of sexual assault in the #MeToo era. Now the approach is gentler and more self-aware, less vilifying and more patronizing. But, by suggesting that Ford must be mistaken about who assaulted her, Republican lawmakers are making the same claim against her that they made against Hill, altered in style but not in substance: that they know more about a woman’s experience than she does.

Quote:

We don’t know yet what will happen to Christine Blasey Ford—whether, if she does decide to testify, she will be afforded more respect by Republicans during a hearing than Hill was, or whether she will be talked down to with the same contempt. And we do not know how Republicans will reconcile the fact that Kavanaugh faces these allegations in a charged political climate where many of them would like to appoint him to the Supreme Court regardless, where his decisions will have profound reverberations in the lives of women and all Americans. For her part, Ford seems to have made her own calculations with weariness, resignation, and limited hope. In her interview with the Washington Post, she explained why she had initially declined to come forward: “Why suffer through the annihilation if it’s not going to matter?”
