This thing about Trump rounding and killing cheese-eaters... should I get worried? Should I kill him before he kills me perhaps?

If you had listed American cheese you would have been OK. If you live in the US I would try for Canada as soon as possible.

@RABEL222,
I believe Olivier is living in France, but could be wrong.

Are you planning on following your advice to him and moving to Canada?

@RABEL222,
I've never understood what american cheese is, first saw it mentioned on a2k. I thought of as cheap cheese, lower than ordinary types. I've not seen it in the many markets I've been too, but I've not been everywhere. Maybe it is popular in varied regions.

Quite right. We elected a crooked con man in chief.

@RABEL222,
I particularly like fresh pecorino; well, I would. Also, Sardo dolce. You know more, since you are nearby.

Meantime, I thought the cheese eater thing was about when the US department of whatever distributed a large amount of cheese to the poor. I
don't remember what year. My inlaws qualified, and they were very thrifty, saved sugar and salt packets when they went out to eat, which was rarely. They were very happy re the cheese.

@Finn dAbuzz,
I am a cheese eater and proud of it. American cheese, preferably white.

Just minutes after taking the oath of office, President Trump‎ made it harder for working families to get a mortgage. The President suspended a planned cut in FHA mortgage insurance premiums, which the National Association of Realtors estimates will cost as many as 40,000 families a shot at a new home. That’s 40,000 who just lost their chance to buy a home thanks to brand new President Trump. Now that he's in office, we must measure the President by his actions, not only his words – and what he did today was make it that much harder for families trying to achieve the American Dream.

@ossobucotemp,
Dont know. MY better half hates it. I love it especially on grilled ham and cheese sandwiches. First ran across it on the east coast but it soon came to the midwest. About 30 years ago.

@ossobucotemp,
I remember when they gave out that cheese which was bought from cheese producers to boost the price. It was a very good grade of cheddar. Every once in a while someone in my town would share some with me. Very tasty.

When I was in the service in the mid 60s, a cheese eater was a rat. You know, someone who would rat you out to gain some personal benefit or reorganization.

What bullshit. The reductions put taxpayers at risk by lowering the funds the FHA has to deal with mortgage defaults.

It merely adds an extra $500 to the mortgage payment. And people with a 580 FICO score shouldn't be buying the house anyhow. Didn't the subprime lending fiasco teach you anything? If you can't afford a house payment you shouldn't be buying a house.

If you let yourself get bitch-slapped around like a punk in front of all your homeys without the slightest bit of resistance because you don't want to risk making your oppressor "really mad," and afterward claim that you won the fight due to your abject cowardice because you are the "bigger man," well, then, you just might be a cheese-eater.

If you are a pompous, pretentious poseur who preens and prances around proclaiming your "superiority" because your weakness and cowardice makes you more "moral," well, then....

Chances are about 100% that you're a cheese-eater, sho nuff.

If your idea of "resistance" is to drop your pants, bend over, and grab your ankles but NEVER tell them where the K-Y jelly is, then, you guessed it, you have "cheese-eater" written all over your face, back, stomach, and every other fiber of your being.

And, of course, you will then incessantly whine that you have been "victimized" by others. Other cheese-eaters will heartily agree and will help you fantasize about devious, surreptitious methods of getting revenge from a distance--something like poisoning their kids lunches, ya know?
